"Ava I know you want to spend more time together, but like I told you when we were home this trip is not a vacation it's business. So why you actin brand new" i asked getting annoyed.
"It's not about me acting brand. I knew why we're coming here it's just the simple fact that when we're here together I ask you one question and you get mad. So I'm going home. Already bought my ticket" she said as she continued to pack.
"What you mean you going home. We came her together so we leave together"I said moving her
bag.\
"I am going home Indie handle your business without me" she said as she walked in the bathroom to retrieve her make up bag.
I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"Im sorry mamas I dont want you to think I am angry with you because I am not. I am just really stressed out right now". I said as I started kissing her neck.
"Well can you open your mouth next time. I will never really know what wrong with you if you don't say anything". she said as she cancelled her flight and laid down.
The next day I met with the connect and got a great deal. Only one more year of this and i'm out the game.
2 weeks later
"Marie what do you mean your pregnant" Quran asked as he sat down on his bed.
"Ok baby I missed my period last month but I thought nothing of it, but then this month come and I didn't come on. So I went to the doctors and they said I'm pregnant" she said with a shy smile.
"So you keeping it" Quran asked hoping she said no.
"Quran my family is very religious I have to keep it. My mom being crying all day and my dad been praying over me every time I walk past" she said through tears.
"Rd ma I'm here for you just call me later ok baby" he said and the call ended.
I went downstairs to see Ava, and Indie sitting on the couch watching tv.
"Hey y'all can we talk I have a little problem" I said with a shy smile.
"Oh hell no what's going on" indie said.
"Ok well I don't know how to put it. But Marie is pregnant-" I tried to say.
"Oh lawd how you do that mane, strap it up what happened" Indie said.
"Listen we all make mistakes it's ok what are you going to do?" Ava asked.
"She's keeping it" Quran says.
"Ok we're going to support y'all were very disappointed but I understand that shit happens" Ava said.
"Yeah you better look for a job" indie said as we went outside to smoke.
"I know I messed up" Quran said as he went upstairs.
Marie😘✨- can you come and get me?
Quran- you wanna get a room ?
Marie😘✨- sure
Quran- ok on my way😌
"Hey y'all I'm about to get Marie and go get a room she's upset" I said as I grabbed my keys.
"Ok be safe man text me when you get there" indie said.
1 hour later
"I won't be able to go to Southern, my whole life is basically done". she said as she cried on my chest.
"Baby its ok we can still move to Baton Rouge. I will start working and saving for us to get a little apartment down there. We both can go to Southern" Quran said as he rubbed her back.
"You would do that for me"
"Yes ma'am"
Marie
I got back home and went straight to my room. I looked around and seen all the honor roll certificates, cheerleading hair bows, volleyball knee pads, A+ papers, and all my accomplishments. Being pregnant isn't a bad thing I am going to be a good mommy and Quran will be a good daddy. I just want to make my parents proud and my baby.
I sat at my desk and started searching for part-time jobs. After a few application I closed my computer and took shower to get ready for bed.
I stood in front of the mirror and lifted my shirt to look at my tummy. I am a mommy.
