The whole room went silent. Ally didn't know what to do, what to say. She didn't know how to process the information just given to her.
"Shit" Ally ran her hands through her hair trying to understand all the things going through her head.
"Ally" Ali said as she tried to understand what Ally was thinking. Ashley sat down in silence.
"Your lying, I know you are" Ally screamed, "your just trying to manipulate me like you used to, you want to mess my life up and ruin everything for me, you always have done" Ally took a deep breath and looked back at Ashley.
"Ally" Ashley said as she stood up. "No, shut up and sit down" Ally shouted.
"Ally please just hear me out, I will tell you everything" Ashley said, she was clearly scared at Ally's outburst. Ali put her hand on Ally's shoulder to turn her around. Ally looked at Ali as her breathing returned back to normal. "Give her a chance, at least then you can know what happened" Ali mumbled.
Ally stood in front of Ashley. "Fine just explain and I want the truth" Ally sat down and looked at Ashley waiting for her to say sonething.
Ashley took a deep breath and started to explain. "Well Shannon and Cammie invited me to the party, I went with my friend Steph and her girlfriend Madison" She stopped and looked at Ally who nodded signaling for her to continue. "The party was good I spent most of my time with Steph and Madison until they went off to do their own thing. That's when I saw you, I promise I didn't know that you were going to be there. Anyways, I went onto the balcony to get some air, I felt really claustrophobic because of all of the people and knowing that your were there too made me panic" Ally stopped her.
"Why did you panic when you saw me" Ally questioned with a gentle tone a lot calmer then she was earlier.
"After everything we had been through...."
"You mean all the lies and the games and me being in love with you and you completely using me"
"Ally it wasn't like that and I panicked because I knew how much you hated me"
Ally sighed "No matter what I've said, deep down I could never hate you" Ashley smiled at Ally before continuing, "you walked up to me completely out of it, I mean I have never seen you so drunk"
Ally laughed, "even after that night in Miami" Ashley laughed at the memory "yeah you were a lot more drunk than that"
Ali coughed, they both looked at her and stopped laughing. "So you walked up to me mumbling random things that I couldn't understand and then you said "hey". At the time I don't think you realised who I was but you continued talking to me, most of the stuff you said made no sense but I still listened. You kept getting closer and closer to me when you talked. You where so close that I could feel you breath on my lips, I couldn't resist it anymore, I couldn't resist you anymore. And that's when I kissed you. I'm sorry"
Ally could see how guilty Ashley looked but Ali wasn't convinced. She hadn't met Ashley before today but she could already see the effect that she was having on Ally.
Ally knew that Ashley was genuinely sorry but she was still confused. "I thought you said I kissed you"
"Technically you did, well you kissed me back. I was the happiest that I have been in ages..."
"Ashley"
"I know, but it didn't last long you pulled away and started shouting at me"
"That's what I saw" Ali butted in.
"That's when Ali pulled you away"
Ally started thinking, "Stevie must of seen us kiss, that's why she was so upset"
"Well I don't blame her" Ali said, Ally shot her a death glare "Not helping Ali" but Ali shook off Ally's comment.
"It's my fault Ally I really am sorry, I didn't mean to ruin anything for you I really care about you" Ally and Ashley sat frozen staring at eachother.
"Well I'm going to give you two some space to talk and stuff, Ally I'll be in the car don't be too long" Ali said as she left Ally and Ashley alone.
"Ally to be truthful I never stopped loving you, I know I wasn't the best girlfriend but that was because I was new to the whole relationship thing. I didn't mean to lie to you, I never wanted to I was just going through a really hard time and I didn't know how to deal with it"
"You could of just talked to me, I was always there for you"
"I didn't want to scare you away, I never wanted to lose you"
"But you did, you did lose me didn't you"
"Ally"
"You hurt me Ashley, I loved you and you really hurt me"
"Past tense then"
"What" Ally said confused.
"You said you 'loved me' that's past tense"
"Ashley I don't know ok, I have Stevie well I did have her at least, now I don't know"
"Ally I still love you and I always did even if that's not what you thought"
Ally looked shocked, "why are you telling me all of this now"
Ashley stood up and got closer to Ally, they were only centimetres apart. Ally felt her heart beat get faster, she started feeling nervous. She didn't know why Ashley made her feel like this after all this time. She was supposed to hate her but she knew that deep down she didn't. Ally had different thoughts and emotions that where all hitting her at once.
"Do you still love me" Ashley whispered into Ally's ear.
"Yes" Ashley closed the gap between the pair and Ally kissed back.
