"I'm going to call him Noodle" Ally finally said after a few moments of thinking.
"Aww that's cute" they all said in unison.
They all made their way inside and dried off after being in the pool for so long. Ally put Noodle down on the couch and sat down next to him.
Rose walked in with some pillows and a blanket and bundled them up on the floor."I thought that maybe he would want a bed,.this is the best I could do" Rose said pointing to the blanket pile on the floor.
"Thanks" Ally said as she picked up Noodle and placed him on his new bed. Rose and Rosie went to bed and Stevie and Ally sat on the couch together.
"Hey, are you ok" Ally said detecting Stevie's unusually quiet behavior. Stevie nodded at Ally and rested her head in Stevie's lap.
Ally played with Stevie's hair as the Stevie relaxed in Ally's lap. "I've just been thinking about stuff"Stevie said looking up at Ally.
"What kinda stuff"
"Just something you said"
Ally got worried at Stevie's words. She tried to remember everything she had said that night but she couldn't think of anything that could of upset Stevie.
"What did I say" Ally said looking anxious.
"Nothing, its stupid its not important"
Ally lifted Stevie's head up forcing her to sit up. Stevie was confused when Ally pulled her into her lap. Ally tilted Stevie's chin up.
"Look at me ok, if its important to you then its important to me"
Stevie looked at Ally then took a deep breath. "Well earlier you kinda said that you wished you had a baby"
"Oh" Ally remembered saying that earlier but she didn't realize that Stevie had heard her. Ally thought what to say next, of course she wanted a kid but she didn't want to scare Stevie off.
"Oh I wasn't being serious don't worry" Ally could see the disappointment in Stevie's eyes as she said this. There was an uncomfortable silence until Stevie got of off Ally's lap and started to walk away. Ally grabbed Stevie's hand and pulled her back before she could walk any further.
"Stevie..." Ally said but Stevie cut her off.
"Don't worry about it Ally...I was just over thinking"
"No Stevie just listen to me please" Ally took Stevie's hands and they sat next to eachother on the couch together again.
"The thought of having a kid with you couldn't make me happier, in my eyes you are my future and I would be honoured to start a family with you. I know that we have been having problems and that's mainly my fault..."
"Ally"
"Please let me finish" Ally continued, "I'm just thankful that you gave me another chance and that we are working through things. Right now I just want to focus on us but if its what you want I would love to create a future with you" Ally could see Stevie's eyes starting to tear up.
"Trust me, I love you"
Stevie was overwhelmed by Ally's words. To think that someone could genuinely care about her that much was too much for her to handle. She was filled with so many emotions. She was surprised that Ally wanted to have a future with her, but Stevie knew that it was what she wanted too"
Stevie pulled Ally into a hug and rested her head on Ally's shoulder. They stayed like that for a while until Ally pulled away and placed a gentle kiss on the top of Stevie's head.
Stevie leaned in and kissed Ally slowly but,passionately. She placed a small kiss on Ally's neck and then whispered into her ear,
"I trust you"
I hope that you enjoyed that chapter, there will only be a few more until I finish the story. I was thinking about making a sequel but I'm not sure yet.
Even though Noodle is a cat you all wanted the puppy to be named Noodle so Noodle is now to the new addition to Ally and Stevie's family :)
