“Hana! Hana! We’re in the same class! I missed you!"
"Serra! I missed you too!"
How was your summer?”
“My… Summer… It was fun... hehe” (^_^;)
“Really?”
"Yea"
"I... I don't think so (^_^) So... What is it? Is there something you wanna share?"
"Nothing much, really"
"Hey Missy, I know you (:P) So... What is it? Come on~! Tell me (>:D) "
“Ah... Nothing... It’s just that… time was too fast… I couldn’t catch it…” *loooong sighhhh*
“Time… Fast… Catch? What!? *ting (< light bulb)* Hohoho~ It seems like something interesting happened to you this summer! You visited your grandparents again, right?”
“Yea.. But it was nothing, Serra”
“Don’t ‘It was nothing, Serra’ me missy! Come on, we've been friends since time started running~”
“Time... Racing with time sure is hard… I wish I could go back in time and slow it down...”
"So will you tell me the story? :D ”
The cry of seagulls…
The sounds of the waves that lingers…
The sand that covers my feet…
The warm air passing through me… and him
***Flashback***
*aw uck* *aw uck*
“I can hear the seagulls cry… Mama, we’re almost here!”
“We’re still miles away, honey… And you haven't slept one bit... Why don't you take a nap?”
"I can't~! I'm too excited (:3)"
“What have you been looking forward to anyway?"
“The reason why we’re going there! I’m excited to see grandma and grandpa again! *whisper* And the beach~”
“Ah I see. I’m sure they’re as much as excited to see you”
Every summer break, me and my mama visits my grandparents. They live by the shore in Okinawa, Japan. There is a beach in the west coast of Okinawa Main Island called the “Emerald beach”… The beautiful emerald green ocean, the pure white sand and the clean environment---They’re so lucky to see such a beautiful sight every day. Just looking at it makes you feel at peace…
"Ah. She fell asleep" *pfft*
*snore*
“Hana, Wake up! We’re here.”
“Wha-Wha-What?”
“Come on get your bags and let’s go”
“AHHHHH~ we’re here! Emerald Beach! Such beauty” \(TT^TT)/
“Hana!”
“Grandma!”
“You’ve fallen in love with it again” *smile*
“I keep falling for it every summer! hehe *grin* Where’s grandpa?”
“He’s at the shore, you know… That”
“I see. I’ll go take a look”
*Shwishhhh* *shwooshhh* *shwiiishhhh* (<sound of ocean waves XD )
“Grandpa!”
“Ah, Hana! You’ve arrived!”
“…Grandpa…” :(
“It’s been two years now…” *sigh*
My papa was a seaman. He’s always on duty so we only see him every summer when he visits his parents, my grandma and grandpa. That was actually the main reason why I and mama go here every summer-- “To see papa”. But Papa is gone. 2 years ago, their ship sank. They tried to find the bodies of the people but the ocean was too big. His body was remained unseen. After that, my Grandpa would always go to the shore and try to look for papa, even if it seemed so impossible—a father longing to see his son again.
“One, Troublesome… Two, Meaningless… No offense but, It’s been two years! Two LOOONG years…”
***flashback cut </3***
“Serra! You cut the flashback XD Even if it seemed meaningless… Isn’t it a parent’s love?”
“Parent’s… love… *sigh* your father is lucky to have such great parents… Even you”
Serra’s parents abandoned her when she was a baby. She’s now living with her aunt who doesn’t seem to care about her and was actually forced to take her in. I’ll tell her story next time~
“So Hana… The story?”
“Oh, right!”
***flashback again***
So after that, me and my grandpa went back to the house. We ate dinner and after that, I went outside for a walk.
“A hill?! I didn’t know there was a hill in here. And I go here yearly” (O.O)
--
“Sunflowers? They’re so tall! *looks right* *looks left* no one’s looking! (>:D) *pluck* Ah! I got it~! What a pretty sunflower” *smile*
“My… Sunflower” *faints*
Oops… I’m dead. (OwO);
*rise* “What did you do to my sunflower?! Why’d you pick itttttttt???!!!”
“I’m sorry (TT^TT) sorry… Uhm… Let me pay you back?”
*Sighhhhhh* “Fine. You need to plant sunflowers for the rest of your life as punishment (>:D) MWOHOHOHOHO“
“Ugh. What?” (O.O)
What’s with this guy? He fainted… and rose after 5 seconds (O.O); Now he wants me to plant sunflowers for the rest of my life...? (TT^TT) and was he laughing? I couldn’t determine XD The transitions was so fast, I couldn't catch up (OwO;)
*pfft*
“heh?” (O.O);
“You’re reaction was funny! HAHA”
“heh.” (O.o)
“I was just joking back there! It was alright that you picked one of my precious sunflowers. I understand you! It was so beautiful that you couldn’t resist not having it, right!?” *smile & glow*
Wow… He’s glowing (O.o) I’ll be alright (U.U) just agree with him
“Ah. Yes…”
“By the way, are you new here? I haven’t seen you around here” :D
“Ah no. We just came here for the holidays”
“Ah I see. Keisuke”
“Huh?”
“My name is Keisuke! You can call me kei!”
(o.o)
"Ha- Hana"
“Nice to meet you, Ha-Hana” :D
"It's just Hana (-.-;)
"Ahh~ But you said Ha-Hana!"
"... it’s just Hana..."
"Ok, Hana~ Nice to meet you"
***Flashback cut***
“Keisuke... When he told me his name, flowers bloomed in his background (-.-;) ”
"Ha-Hana *pfft* Anyway, is he normal? :D "
"I can't say, hahaha. Anyway, Let's continue later. The teacher is here (:P) "
