Me and Aaliyah sat in back of the über and things were silent. We're were almost home and I haven't said a word yet I quickly wiped away the forming tear before she could see but failed.
Before I knew it Aaliyah was moving to the middle seat and pulling me into a hug which only made me cry harder because finally somebody was giving me just what I need, a hug.
The rest of the short ride was quiet we went to Aaliyah's house because I'm pretty sure if I saw diggy at home I'd catch a case☺️
When she unlocked the door I saw a big pile of men things next to it must be August stuff.
I followed her upstairs as she led me into the guest room
When we reached the room she bent down into the drawers and pulled out some clothes
"You sleep in here?" I asked hoping to start our first conversation since the bar
"When me and august used to fight yeah" she dryly and handed me some sweats and a tank top.
"You know where everything else is at" she said walking towards the door
"Aaliyah"
She turned around and looked at me I felt so bad for what I said at the bar.
"I'm sorry I didn't-"
"It's fine, have a good sleep" she slightly smiled and closed the door.

I woke up and heard laughing down stairs I put my hair into a messy bun and made my way downstairs and I found a laughing Aaliyah and Adam sitting at the island.
The were laughing looking at some pictures and I had to cough so they could see that I was entering the room. They both looked up at me and got silent making me feel like i killed the vibe.
I stood by the stairs and they both stood sitting down. I couldn't take my eyes off Adam there was something different about him but u couldn't put my finger on it just yet.
"Me And Adam were just looking at some of the photoshoots they want us to do for our next project, come join us" she said pulling out the stool next to her.
I walked over to the stool slowly I felt Adams eyes burning holes through me I wanted to speak but I didn't know how. Well I knew how to speak of course but not to him. Last time I saw him I feel like things ended on a bad note so do I start a friendly conversation like that never happened or do I be fake mad?
"What do you think about this one?" Aaliyah asked me snapping me out of my thoughts "uh.. That ones not my favorite" I said holding in my laughs.
"Mines either" they both said at the same time causing us all to laugh.
Soon enough I found myself alone in the kitchen with Adam while Aaliyah sat outside with August since he wanted to talk over things
"You know" Adam said disturbing the silence
"I always thought you looked most beautiful without all the makeup and fancy clothes" he said and moved and strand of falling hair out my face.
I lightly blushed and smiled "than-"
"I know you feel awkward diamond, you don't have too. I didn't take what happened personal I should've understood you had a boyfriend, how are yal anyways?"
"Um.. We're not together" I say while looking down.
"Oh dang, what happened? If you don't mine me asking"
" a whole lot of cheating" I say trying to laugh the situation off
"What about you how you been?" I ask hoping to change the subject
"I been doing good music wise, and I'm almost done doing this modeling project with Aaliyah, I'll miss it though. Oh, and I met a-"
Before he could finish his phone started to light up I looked at it and saw a picture of a pretty girl
"This is her, I met a girl she's really sweet believe it or not" he said and answered the phone
"Hey baby" he said
I was so deep into listening to his conversation I didn't even hear somebody calling my name
"Diamond"
"Ugh what do you want August" I said annoyed I didn't wanna talk to him.
"I'm not August" they said and I turned around
