I raised an eyebrow and looked at her as if she was crazy.
"Excuse me?" Aaliyah said just as confused as I am.
"You heard me bitch" Ashleigh said with her confidence through the roof
"Oh no, she got the wrong ones" Aaliyah said and we both laughed
"What do I look like being jealous of you?" I asked still laughing she was funny.
"Everybody hates on my fine ass from my man down to my body. You ne-"
"Pause" I said cutting her off
"If I really wanted your so called "man" I'd already have him. And the fact that just last night he was telling me how much he wants to be with me just makes everything easier."
"And if you haven't noticed you don't really have much of an ass to hate on" I said referring to her body.
And with that me and Aaliyah stood up and left we had no time to argue with her basically.
"We should go out since we both look cute" Aaliyah said as we got into her car

"Your Aug's girl right?" The bouncer asked Aaliyah and she shook her head yes.
"You can go ahead, but who's your friend?" He looked down at me and smiled he was kinda cute actually but I wasn't interested in anyone right now.
"My cousin, Diamond"
I held out my hand to shake but instead he grabbed it and lifted it to his lips softly kissing it "beautiful name" I felt myself blushing so I just walked in with Aaliyah.
As we were walking I turned around and realized he was still staring at me with a smile plastered across his face I probably should of gotten his name.
"Helllloo did you hear me?" Aaliyah said snapping her fingers
"i said order what you want" "henny on the rocks" I told the waiter and he shook his head walking away
I turned back to see if the guy was still looking but he wasn't.
The DJ played the hills by the weekend and I stood up to dance with Aaliyah I loved this song, soon enough the waiter came back and handed us our drinks we made our way back to the bar and as soon as I sat down another song played. In the night by the weekend another that I liked
"We have to dance to this!" I told Aaliyah and stood up
"Girl I'm tired" she said waving me off and I laughed making my way back to the dance floor.
"In the night she hears him calling, in the night she's dancing to relive the pain" I sang along with the song and kinda laughed it reminded me of myself at this very moment.
It's been a rough ass month. I got cheated on by the person I loved, met up with an ex only to find out he's engaged with the girl I was being cheated on with, met up with a guy who used to like me and found out his girl is physical and ended up dancing to relieve all the pain in a club with my cousin. Crazy right?
"Dang it's that serious?" Someone asked and I turned around seeing the bouncer from the outside.
"What's serious?" I asked confused
"Your thoughts. I was singing along with you waiting for you to take the next line" he yelled over the music.
"Yeah they're that serious" I smiled and began to walk back to Aaliyah but he grabbed my wrist
"Why do you do that?" He asked
"Do what?"
"Everytime I get you to finally smile you end you just walking away from me, basically dubbing me" he said smiling
"Listen um.."
"Harry" he said giving me his name
"Listen Harry I'm just not trying to focus on anyone other than myself, I don't want you think I'm leading you on or whatever" I said hoping he'd understand.
"I understand, but I'm not like him"
"Like who?"
"Whoever hurt you"
I was about to walk away but he pulled me back again.
"Just give me your number I'll show you way better"
"I don-" I was cut off by Aaliyah August "you ready to go?" Aaliyah asked.
I stood in the middle between Aaliyah and August. Give him my number or just walk away? I guess you can say I was Indecisive. But for some reason I had a good feeling about him.
