"I can't believe how fucking stupid he had me looking" I said to Adam as I took another sip of my coffee
"He obviously didn't know how much of a good woman he had"
For some reason I felt as if he's been flirting this whole conversation but I could've swore he said he had a girlfriend?
"You know me and your cousin have a event to go to tonight you should
Come"
"No I don't kno-"
"Come on look at her I don't even know if she's coming anymore" he said and we both looked out side seeing Aaliyah and August laughing and smiling.
"Maybe it could just be us" he said looking back at me.
I laughed and looked at him I didn't wanna be in the house lonely and depressed so why not?
"Maybe it will be"
"What are you guys talking about?" Aaliyah said coming into the house all cheesy
"The question is what were you guys talking about"
"Yeah I saw you all smiles for the first time" Adam added
"Nothing we were laughing and how diggy was" she said
Diggy had just left maybe 15 minutes ago. He tried explaining how he was wrong and he promised to never do it again but his words felt worthless to me. I don't think I really need a relationship right now I much rather just focus on me.
"Adam invited me to your even later on" I said quickly changing the subject.
"You should come it'll be fun"

"I don't know whatever he was doing felt weird"
"What do you mean" Aaliyah said laughing.
We were at th food court in the mall talking about how awkward things with Adam and me were
"I felt like he was flirting I don't know" I said and looked at my watch it somehow was 7:28 now
"What time is it?" Aaliyah asked
"Time for us to leave" I said getting up to throw my trash away
When we got back to her car she began driving me to my house I hope diggy wasn't there cause I really don't feel like going to jail today. I kept getting calls from unknown callers I'm pretty sure it was him or drake who knows I was really hoping to forget about everything that happened.
When she pulled up to my apartment I quickly got out she told me she'd be back in about 2 hours to pick me up.
When I got inside nobody was there that's a good sign I went upstairs to my bedroom and opened the closet door all of diggy's things were gone another good sign.
I put on some music and began taking off my clothes to take a shower I let the hot water hit my skin for a while before starting to wash my body after about 20 minutes I got out and lotioned my body then some light makeup.

I sat on my couch waiting for Aaliyah when I finally heard her pull up I grabbed my phone and keys and walked outside. When I got into the car I wasn't surprised to see it wasn't Aaliyah it was Adam instead.
Aaliyah knew exactly what she was doing.
"Aaliyah asked me to pick you up cause she running late" he said and drove off.
The drive to downtown felt somewhat quick since we were having a good conversation things were slowly starting to feel less awkward.
He parked his car and quickly got out jogging over to my side to open the door for me "thank you"
When we got inside I looked around and immediately spotted Aaliyah sitting on a couch with some guy as I walked closer I realized it was August I don't know why he had on shades the club was already dark enough.
"How could you do that to me" I said sitting next to her
"Do wha-"
"Hey diamond" August said over Aaliyah "hey" I said blanks and they both looked at me in shock that I spoke to him "I'll talk to you later" I said getting up before he could start conversation
I walked to the bar and sat next to the Adam we were having a good conversation but I kept catching somebody staring at me. After a couple drinks I got up to use the restroom "I'll be back"
I used the restroom and was washing my hands when I felt a tall
