I woke up feeling rather chirpy this morning. Was it because of what happened between Caerus and I? I felt a tingle just at the thought of him. This man was now haunting my very thoughts and oddly I liked it.

I stretched lazily and made my way to the bathroom to freshen up. After I good wash I stepped out and wrapped a towel around my body. My smile never once faltered.

"Good morning." His thick accent filled the room.

There was something different about his greeting. It wasn't as calm and relaxed as it usually was but cold and rough.

"Are you ok?" I asked, not the slightest bit concerned that my attire was simply a towel.

Silence.

With a few steps he made his way from where he sat on the bed over to where I was. The smell of his aftershave was slightly overpowering but I didn't mind. It was intoxicating.

"Miss Simmons, what happened between us yesterday was entirely a mistake. I wasn't in my right mind so just forget anything happened and focus on our deal. After that you will be granted your freedom."

With that being said, he turned and left.

He left.

He wanted me to act as if nothing happened between us. I felt hurt. He got what he wanted and left. I was one of his used tissues. The only thing was that instead of being disposed I had to stay and help him find Myles.

Fück this.

Fück him.

I didn't see the need to feel depressed over a son-of-a-Italian-bïtch like him. I was now seething with rage as his words replayed like a scratched record. I'd show him that he's not the only one that doesn't give a damn.

*********

"Miss Simmons, why have you not come down for dinner?" The devil himself questioned?

I walked past him in search of my sleepwear. I was in no mood to speak to him so I ignored him.

"Miss Simmons are you deaf or are you ignoring me?" I could tell he was annoyed but I didn't care. He deserved it.

"I'm not hungry."

I went inside the bathroom and closed the door, completely ignoring the frustrated look Caerus shot my way. I stripped myself of my clothes and jumped in the shower.

Bang.

Shocked by the loud noise I shifted the shower curtain, only to see that the door was knocked down by a very furious Caerus. I closed the curtain to finish my shower but to my disdain the devil tore it off, exposing my naked body to his eyes. Quickly my hands shot up to conceal my most private body parts. His eyes scanned my body then stopped on my right ribcage. There was a glint of something but it quickly faded as his temper rose.

"Miss Simmons I don't like being ignored." He said through gritted teeth.

I was about to protest when he began removing his clothing. My mouth went dry at the sight before me. There he stood, as a Greek god, slowly teasing me. Heating my very core. I had to snap out of it. He regretted what happened between us yesterday and I wasn't about to give in to his seduction techniques.

"What are you doing Celestino?" My voice wasn't as stern as I hoped it would be.

He smirked proudly at me. Mischief clearly seen in his pools of blue. He was definitely enjoying this. That bastard!

"Since you choose to ignore me miss Simmons, I'll just take a shower to get my mind off things."

As if the heavens had answered my prayers, his phone rang the moment he reached to pull his pants. I sighed in relief as he went outside to take the call. Thank goodness.
