FT C.7: Undercover

Summary: Hisui likes to cosplay.

The sun rose on a new day and after finally getting the information Mirajane spoke to the team.

"This request was actually made by Princess Hisui herself, you must travel to the palace where you will look for her diamond. Apparently if you are powerful enough you can feel the diamond, I'm not really sure what that means. But I contacted the princess and she sounded ecstatic that it was you who chose the request."

Mirajane's hands moved back to her hips as her eyes studied each member of the strongest team, an eyebrow slightly raised. But with a quick shake of her head, Mirajane placed a map on the table and a small bag of gold coins for travelling and food.

"We don't need that." Her eyes widened slightly at Fuyu, who had only glanced her way and was back to playing some sort of board game with Laxus.

"I don't understand."

"We will arrive at the palace by the end of the day, travelling by air currents. No need to waste money on us for free travel." Mirjane lowered her head slightly as a light pink blush dusted her cheeks.

"Well, see you soon and good luck!" Mirajane's smile was only slightly forced as she waved off her childhood friends and once they were gone the smile fell and pouring a big glass of beer, she sat on the bar, legs crossed and drank so much even Cana would be jealous.

Meanwhile Fuyu was explaining what travelling by air currents meant.

"How come Wendy can't perform this wind magic?"
"It's not really a spell to be learnt but a talent that is matured over time."
"Will it make me travel sick?"
"No, it doesn't really feel like you're moving."

In a shot Fuyu had summoned the currents and the team were shooting off to the palace.

The sky was blue and slightly streaked with pinks and oranges, upon seeing a cloud Fuyu waved a finger and watching it disappear she smirked slightly.

Lucy suddenly jumped up and pointed at the horizon, "There it is! I can see the grand magic games stadium and the palace!"

The team chattered a bit in anticipation of the request but suddenly hushed when they realised that a journey that would have taken a minimum of a day and a half on magic vehicle had been completed in barely two hours. The team slowly turned to stare at the powerful Mage.

Fuyu's eyes were shut, sitting on the edge of the current she titled her head back allowing the wind to blow in her face and the sun to kiss her features gently. The long black hair that had intrigued natsu only a day or two before had freed itself from her hood and was flowing behind her, catching the light every now and then making it shimmer in the early evening light.

"M-magic." Natsu and Lucy muttered at the same time.

Fuyu snapped out of her trance and glancing down she jumped off the current and landed directly in front of the palace in a cat like landing position.

Then glancing up she clicked her fingers and watched the rest of the team drift down on a different current before being dropped lightly on the floor.

"You're amazing Fuyu, almost as cool as Carla!" Happy was staring at Fuyu, hearts in his eyes as she glanced down at him and smiled slightly.

"So about that emerald."

Suddenly the team was transported to a different room, full of outfits and wigs. A figure emerged from the shadows.

"I'm terribly sorry old friends," Hisui smiled slightly at the team, "but if my father sees you roaming about the palace he is sure to be angry. That emerald is very important to this Kingdom and I might have misplaced it."

Hisui blushed slightly and looked down, pressing her two index fingers together.

"So what is the plan then? Our faces are kind of well known around here." Erza replied.

"Ah yes. Well you need to dress like maids and the boys will dress like butlers."

Hisui glanced around the room before her eyes landed on Fuyu who was openly staring at the princess, "do I know you?"

Fuyu looked to the side and shook her head, "No."

The princess plastered a smile back onto her face before handing the team their disguises, including wigs and for Erza, Natsu and Gray pairs of thick rimmed glasses.

The team emerged new people, the boys sporting tuxedos and matching brown hairstyles. Lucy wearing an apron with trousers, a pale green shirt and wearing a short black wig. Erza a pair of dungarees with a pale green shirt underneath and sporting a mousy brown wig.

Last to come out of the changing rooms was Fuyu, who was wearing a dress with a small apron tied around the waist with a long dirty blonde wig tied in a ponytail to hide her normal hair.

Fuyu quickly explained, "the boys are butlers, simple as that. You will have access everywhere in the house whilst Happy (who had been dyed a black) will search above ground. Lucy is a cook, you will be looking around the servants' quarters. Erza is a gardener or stable girl, you will be searching outside. And lastly Fuyu is my personal maid, you will follow me around for the day keeping me safe and keeping an eye out for the emerald."

Everyone nodded before setting off in different directions, Fuyu staying next to Hisui who glanced at her before heading to the dining room.
