Hey guys! I just can't seem to sleep! Who cares, though! You guys are here for the fanfic! TO THE STORY!!
Garroth knocked on the door of a white and purple house, which opened a few seconds later. Meanwhile, my heart was racing, and I didn't really know how to make it stop. I don't want to tell him. I don't want to tell anyone. I wish I was in the forest. At least there I can-.
My thoughts were interrupted by a sweet girl introducing herself to me. "Hi there! I'm Lord Aphmau. It's a pleasure to meet you." I looked at her with pleasant eyes.
"Hello, Lord aphmau; My name is (Y/n). I was actually wondering if there's a place I could stay for a while...?" I asked shyly.
"Well, I could build you a home, but that might take a few days. Although, you can stay here until then. But in the meantime, I can see Garroth wants to speak to you, so I'll let you two chat. When you're done, I'll show you your room." She explained with a kind voice.
"Thank you, Lord Aphmau." She's so kind. I've never really seen a lord as caring as her. I wonder-
"Ahem." I realized Garroth was waiting for me to respond to something he said, but I was completely clueless as to what it was.
"I'm sorry; I wasn't paying attention. What did you say?" I took notice that he rolled his eyes at me. No need to be sassy. I giggled.
"Can we talk about what happened now?" I nodded anxiously at him. "Okay, then. Let's go inside and we can talk about it in the living room (I know aphmau doesn't have a living room, so let's just pretend.).I sat on the couch against the wall, and he sat in a seat across from me. Finally, I began talking.
"Alright, I'm abouy explain evruthing. If I start to go too fast for you, let me know." I took in a deep breath and began my long and complicayed explination. " I'm an elemental, which means I'm able to bend the elements to my will(is "to my will" wrong? If so, let me know in the comments.). The elements I bend are fire, water, life, wind, and time. Long ago, everyone in a certain village had an element. But then, that village was wiped out for all except my grandmother. She had my mother, and my mother had me. I was... Special. I got every element unlike anyone else, who would only get one.
As a child my mother was overprotective of me because the other kids- you know what? That's a story for another time. Anyway, since fire is my natural element - the one I was born with, and the first one I used - it's much stronger than my other elements." Finally, I looked up at him, and he simply sat there in awe. I sensed other people were listening; Lord Aphmau, and another girl: An elf. I decided not to point out the eavesdroppers, though because this is their house, and it would be rude.
Finally, Garroth spoke up. "So what I saw was you using an element? What exactly do these elements do?"
I nodded. "You need answers; I understand. Yes, what you saw was me using the element of fire. All the elements do different things; and each time I use one, my appearance changes. With fire my hair, eyes and weapons change to red. I am able to shoot fire arrows from my bow, and if I cut my enemies with my dagger, they will feel a hot pain in that area for a long time. As for my hands, I can shoot fireballs, and make my hands reach incredibly high temperatures, causing things I touch to melt.
With life, I can heal anyone and anything instantly, and make things grow faster. My appearance and weapons will become green.
With water, my appearance and weapons are blue. I can breathe under water, and form snow; I can't stop storms, though. How ironic.
Finally, time. My appearance is white. I can stop time for a maximum of thirty seconds. I'm also given what's called the sixth sense. My senses intensify and I can see through walls for a short while." I can instantly tell that everyone was in complete awe. I assumed this was all new to them.
Finally, I ratted out the two eavesdroppers. "Alright, so are you two just gonna stare at me, or are you gonna come out sometime?" Aphmau and the elf girl came out from their hiding spots, and I walked up to the elf. "A barrier magicks user. That comes in handy. I'm (Y/n)."
She smiled. "And you are an elemental. I haven't seen one of those in almost a century. I'm Zoey (If you didn't know, Zoey is over 900 years old.)."
"Lord Aphmau, can you please show me my room? I think we should all turn in for the night." Aphmau walked me down the stairs and showed me the door to my room.
"I'm sorry I had to bunk you with my friend, Laurence. He can be a bit of a Casanova sometimes, but he's a good guy." She apologized.
I smiled and bowed my head. "That's alright. I think I'll live." That's when I noticed the fingerless gloves on my hands. "Oh, my gloves must've gotten torn up from when I was protecting Garroth. I think I'll be fine, though."
"Oh, that reminds me; here's a change of clothes!" I smiled and gladly took them from her. "Thank you, lord Aphmau. I'll watch out for that little Casanova." I quickly ran to the bathroom and put the spare clothes that Lord Aphmau gave to me.
As soon as I was done, I went back downstairs. Almost as soon as I walked into my room, someone grabbed my hand; planting a gentle kiss on it. "Hello, my love." I began giggling uncontrollably. Wow, Lord Aphmau wasn't kidding! This poor guy is hopeless! "I'm glad I can be an amusement to you."
"Actually, I'm laughing because Lord Aphmau warned me about... this." I said, motioning to the generel area that the boy was in. "How dare she blow my cover." He grumbled jokingly we both started laughing.
"Anyways, I'm (Y/n)."
He smiled sweetly. "I'm Laurence. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, my dear."
This was a long one but those are always fun. I promise next chapter your gonna make a decision... A big one at that. You might not know it at the time but it'll be a doozy! XD!
