Chapter 23: Peyton?

Rowan POV

He took off his blindfold and stared at me for 10 seconds. Something was wrong.

"Peyton what's wrong are you okay?" I question as I walk over to sit beside him.

"It's just.... GREAT!" Peyton exclaims but I know something is up.

"You don't like it do you..."

He pauses for a moment and looks me in the eye and saids, "I don't like it...." My heart stops and tears flow through my eyes. I run out the door and pull out my phone. Immediately, I call an uber driver to pick me up. Right when I see a car heading towards me I knew it was the uber driver. But the car's not going into the other lane. It's heading towards me. I pause in shock. I'm gonna d---

"ROWAN!!!!"

Peyton pushes me out of the way. I look away as I hear CRASH.

I sit up from the ground. I look at the car and my eyes nail on the driver. I couldn't believe it... It can't be. No no no it can't be. I turn my eyes away and turn to Peyton.

Sabrina POV

Bradley and I went to Disneyland and had the time of our lives. We were just about to ride splash mountain until I get a phone call.

I look at my phone and it's Rowan.

Row. SABRINA COME HERE QUICK.

the moment she spoke I tensed.

Me. WHAT HAPPENED ARE YOU OKAY WHERE ARE YOU.

I got out of the line and ran to the exit of the park. Bradley followed.

Row. IM HERE..... IM AT THE GARDEN THE SECRET GARDEN.

Me. ILL BE RIGHT THERE.

Row. Come here quick NOW

I hang up.

" WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING?!" Bradley's exclaims

"I DONT KNOW BUT SOMETHING HAPPENED TO MY BEST FRIEND AND SHE'S AT THE SECRET GARDEN." I say trying not to panick. Too late.

We rush to the car and we head to the garden.

Rowan POV

The car drove off and I look at my boyfriend lying there. I crawl to him. Tears flooding down my cheeks.

"Peyton?"

......

I set his head to my lap. I stare into his bruised face..

Why did I have to run out? Why is this happening? Is this real? Did the love of my life just save my life? I love him so much. Why did it have to be him? Why can't it be me?

I sit there laying my head on his. Screaming to the top of my lungs.

"PE---YTO---N!!!!! Why!!!! PEYT---ON I LO---VE YOU SO M----UCH. PLE---ASE CAN U HE--AR ME!??!? ITS ROW--AN... I LO---VE YOU SO MU---CH!!! I'M S---ORRY!!!!!" I weep hoping he would wake up.

Then I hear a car drive up. Sabrina and Bradley get out of the car running towards us.

"ROWAN ARE YOU OKAY!??!? WHAT HAPPENED!!?!? PEYTON?!" Sabrina screams.

"PEYTON BUDDY YOU OK HEY PEYTON CAN YOU HEAR ME!!!" Bradley saids shaking him.

I hug Sabrina as I cry into her shoulder.

"It's okay honey everything's gonna be alright." She comforts me.

But I know it's not gonna be alright.

Bradley calls an ambulance because I threw my phone somewhere after I called them.

Minutes later we hear sirens. I'm sitting next to Sabrina on the road rocking back and forth. Staring at my promise ring and Peyton's promise ring because I took his off so the paramedics don't take it off him. Tears still streaming down.

"I love him so much... I can't lose him..... I love him so much... I can't lose him...... I lo--" I whisper to myself but Sabrina spoke,

"hey Row it's going to be okay." I look up at her face. Then I look at where the ambulance was. Gone. Where did they go.. Wait wait wait.

"Where's Peyton!??!? Where did they go!??!" I demand going on my feet pacing the road.

"It's okay Rowan. They just left to go to the hospital and Bradley will take us there. So hop in." Sabrina explains. I jump into the back seat and we drive to the hospital.

I begin to think. Peyton got hit by a car.... By who... It wasn't the uber driver. It's a familiar face.

hey guys um sorry... You probably hate me so much for lots of reasons like not updating, making this chapter so boring (in my opinion,,, sorry I'm really bad at doing intense stuff), and of course the cliff hanger...
