One Last Breath: (Lesbian) [first draft]

Chapter 2: Her

My heart was beating fast as my eyes laid upon the beauty that walks into the door.

" Class, this is Christine Daniels . She just transferred to this school, and she will need help being shown around today."

This girl was 5'7" tall. She had tan skin and bright baby blue eyes. She had long, straight black hair that was tied back into a pony tail. Her clothes looked like she had made no effort, for she was wearing men's style sweatpants, a t-shirt with a black zip up hoodie. She had a a single strap of her backpack resting over her shoulder while the other one hanged down.

"Would anyone like to be the one to show her around for the day. Show her where her classrooms are?" He asked,

Without giving it much thought i raised my hand fast, high in the air.

"Ah Ms. Annabeth, that is very kind of you. Ms. Daniels, would you like for Annabeth to show you around today?"

Without making a sound she nodded yes and agreed with me being the one to show her around today. I looked over at Tyler, who had the sane expression on his face as i did. Well as pretty much the same expression as everyone in the room.

"Well then it is settled. Christine why don't you go have a seat in the back next to Annabeth, so we can continue with the book." Mr. Rodrick says. 

She starts to walking and making her way to the back the empty seat next to me.  As she walks by people, theirs eyes follow. there was a lot of whispering and quiet murmurers going around the room, talking about this new girl. When she reached the vacant desk next to me, she took her bag off and sat down. The teacher finished passing out the books and told everyone to open up to where we left off. Everyone turned to the page in the book. i was doing the same, when i felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. I looked over to see the new girl looking at me.

"Would you mind telling me what page you guys are on. i don't a clue." she said with a smile.

Her voice sounded so kind and gentle and it made me smile, but i don't know why. The sound of her voice was great.

"We left off on page 20. Here let me show you." i said

I went to grab the book from her hands, and in doing so our hands touch, and it felt like time just stopped. It felt different. I couldn't explain what was going on, and why this all felt so different and why this girl was making my heart race. After a second i snapped back into reality and pulled away with the book in hand. I then flipped to the page that the rest of the class was at.

"Here you go." i said  handing the book back to her.

"Thanks. " she said with a kind smile, and looks down at the page.

"So um, I'm Annabeth Johnson, what was your name again?" i asked her. 

She looked back up at me, with the same smile on her face.

"My name is Christine Daniels." She said.

she held her hand out for me to shake it. I looked at her for a moment gave her a smile and shook it. When we took our hands back, we turned around and continued to read. After about 30 minutes of reading, the class was just about over, so Mr. Rodrick told the class to pass up the books up to the front of the room. He then told us that we had the remaining time left in class do talk to our friends. I sat back in my chair and just kept silent for a couple minute. Realizing that the class only had a couple minutes left, i turned to Christine. I took a deep breath and tapped her on the shoulder, so i could talk to her. She turned her head and looked at me.

"Um, since I will be showing you to your classes today, would it be okay if I took a look at your schedule?" 

She nodded her head and then handed me a piece of paper with the list of all her classes.
