With her ash brown tresses cascading down upon her svelte figure and her melted chocolate eyes that were easy to get lost in, it was no surprise that Ashlynella was the Queen Bee at the Royal Academy. Her casual ensemble of a crop top and cut-offs showed off her golden tanned skin and as her graceful fingers swiftly skimmed over her phone's screen, a frown appeared on her unblemished face.
"Where r u Apple?"
"Ash, I told u i'll be there in 5"
"Its been 10"
"Fine, fine, I'm coming"
Ash looked up in desperation, this week had not gone well. Her perfectly crafted perfect life was falling apart. It had started a month ago when her mother had died of cancer. Her father had summoned all the doctors and fairies in the kingdom but no amount of medicines or magic would cure her. Ashley could still remember sitting outside the hospital room with a mascara streaked face next to boyfriend no. 68. Before her mothers death she would go through boyfriends like shoes...and she got new shoes every week. She and her best friend Apple, Snow white's daughter would play a game called 'Love Kicks' where they would try and find a boyfriend that matched their shoe of the week. So far she had a boyfriend for every shoe she owned..except the Glass Slipper.
She was saving that for someone special
