Christian and I decided to take a walk outside to discuss, you know, my sad boyfriend situation. It's actually kind of embarrassing at this point.
"So... about this guy..."
"Ian," I reminded him.
"Ian," he looked like he mentally wrote that down, "So why are you still with this Ian dude?"
"I don't know. I'm scared of him, I guess."
"I have an idea," Christian started to jump up and down.
"That was quick," I smiled.
"Make him break up with you first,"
"Cliché," I giggled.
He grinned. "But really, make him jealous. He'll go find another girl in a jiffy."
I stopped walking and turned to him. "Did you just say what I think you said?"
"What? Jiffy?"
"Yes, jiffy."
Christian looked at his phone and began to laugh really hard.
"What's so funny?" I asked, seriously confused.
"I vined that," he typed away at his screen. "I'm getting pretty popular on Vine,"
"Aw," I said.
"What?"
"Nothing. It's just, well, nothing at all. It's just me aw-ing over how happy you looked when you said that."
He smirked and looked down at his feet, walking a teensy bit closer to me. I felt a rain drop on my arm and looked up at the sky, then the water came down all at once.
"It's pouring," I laughed light-heartedly.
"Aw," he said.
"What?"
"Nothing. It's just, well, nothing at all. It's just me falling completely head over heels for you."
I stopped walking, looked him in the eyes, and pressed our foreheads together.
"You did it," I said."Huh?"
"I'm yours. You did it."
He took my hand and placed it in his, and he kissed me for the second time today as the rain fell all around us.
