Niall's P.O.V

One word. Fate. The only thing that has brought me here. To see the girl I love lying on a hospital bed in a coma.

(3 years ago, still Niall's P.O.V.)

"I can't believe your actually being put through!" I heard her yell through the phone excitedly. "I'm so proud of you nialler!" She said. "Okay now turn around" "wha----" I turned around and was cut off by seeing the most beautiful girl in the world standing there looking at me with watery eyes. She started running as fast as she could over to me and literally jumped into my arms. I spun her around making her giggle. Man I loved it when she giggled. "How are you here? What about your soccer tournament in London today?!" I asked. "Like I would miss you being put through to live your dream!" She replied smiling. "I knew you would make it through Ni. I'm not an idiot. Anyone with half a brain would know you would get through! You're AMAZINGLY talented!" She said "well I guess that explains how u knew that." I said adding a wink at the end making her blush. I like playing this game. We would mess around and act like a couple sometimes but it was just pretend, unfortunately. If only she knew how much I really loved her...... Well bad news for me she already has a boyfriend. Aaron. Ugh can't stand him. He always acts really strange when her best friend Chelsea is around them. Who knows maybe something happened that I don't know about....or Maddie. Well I met this girl who works at Starbucks a couple weeks ago and she is exactly like Maddie. Funny, smart, beautiful, caring, friendly, and for Christs sakes; their name even starts with the same letter, 'M'. Molly Flanagan was her name. I've been having her tag along wit me and Maddie when we hang out to try and make them become best friends so she will drop Chelsea. See I don't have a problem with Chelsea it's just that, as Maddie has said before to me only, "I'm only dating him to make Chelsea happy" that's so like her. Doing something to make other people smile. One of the many reasons she is my best friends. "Niall!" She yelled waving a hand in front of my face. "Are you alive?" She asked concern in her eye. "I don't know. Ask Jesus" I replied back making her smile, simply because I used a phrase she said often. "Okay well I think I'm gonna go grab something to eat, Wanna come" she asked "sure love" I said walking towards the door where she was headed to. "How 'bout nandos" I said linking arms with her. "YES!!" She exclaimed. She can eat just about as much as I can.

We arrived at nandos and she sat down while I went to order. I walked away sassily, kind of like a model. Which made her giggle. When I returned with our food I watched as she grabbed a fork and stole a quick bite out of my food. "HEY!" I exclaimed. No one and I mean NO ONE touches my food. " watcha' gonna do about it?" She said shaking her teasing me like a little kid. "This" I said reaching over the table smooshing some of her food in her face. "Ha!" I said in victory. "Okay we're even.....this time" she said with a wink. We ate the rest of our meal laughing and talking about nothing in particular. "Hey babe I better get going" I said standing up from our table since I had just paid. "Okay me to. Maybe ill call chels and see if she wants to hang tonight" she said pulling out her phone dialing Chelsea. I stood there waiting for her to hang up, knowing Chelsea wouldn't be able to hang. For some odd reason she was always 'busy' when Aaron wasn't with Maddie and she wanted to hang. Strange...but here's an opportunity for her and Molly to hang out and become best friends. Hopefully..... "Okay. Yea it's fine mKay, bye Chelsea" she said hanging up the phone. "So you're free tonight?" I asked smirking a little to see if I could lead her on to believe I wanted to have some fun. Wink wink. "Yea why?" She said suspiciously. "Oh just that you might wanna have some fun tonight" I said with a wink. Her cheeks turned dark red "um yea sure" she said standing up walking towards me. She stopped when our faces where this close. "Maybe I could have some fun" she said blowing her breathe over my lips sending tingles down my spine. "I would love to hang with Molly tonight" she said backing up smirking. " how did yo--" I said but was cut off "you were thinking out loud while I was on the phone with Chelsea" "oh. Here give me your phone real quick" I said holding out my hand for her phone. When it was in my hand I went to Facebook immediately and wrote a new status 'Niall is the sexiest man on earth.' Post. Ha I wonder how long till she gets revenge. Then I opened up contacts and typed in Molly's number. "Okay there's her number" I said putting her phone in her hand. "Have fun" "okay I will. Do you need a ride?" "Yea thanks mads" we walked out to the car in silence and it stayed that way the entire ride to Liam's place,where me and the boys were staying the night. "Thanks again for the ride Maddie" "no problem" "alright see you later" I said leaning in to give her a kiss on the cheek. T her it was a friendly gesture but to me it meant a lot. I got out of the car and walked inside to be greeted by Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis. Who were sitting on the couch smiling at me. "So where were you?" Louis asks smirking. He's the only one I texted about my dinner with Maddie. "Hanging with Maddie." I said walking I to the kitchen grabbing an apple. "Doing what?" Harry asked. Man I chose the wrong time to swallow. I started choking on my apple just a little bit. " we went to nandos and got some food." I said "well I think I'm gonna go to bed, night guys" I said walking up the stairs to Liam's room where I was sleeping. Man I was tired. I layed down and let darkness consume me.
