As I am walking down the crowded hallways toward the cafeteria with Liam, I start to get nervous. Liam wants to introduce me to his friends already? We just met. Usually I am okay with meeting new people. But these aren't just ordinary people that I'm going to meet. They are supernatural. They are different and more intimidating. They see things in ways that no one else does. If Liam is just the Beta, then that means I have to meet the Alpha and that scares me.

Liam and I don't say anything for a while. I'm walking right behind him so it's difficult to try and keep a conversation going. I try to push my way through the other people in the hallway so I can walk beside Liam. It's hard to keep pace with him. It's probably his werewolf powers that are making him walk so fast.

Finally we reach the cafeteria. Liam opens the door for me and I step into what feels like a million eyes staring directly at me. I shut my eyes and shake that feeling out of my head. I open my eyes and I see a bunch of teenagers sitting with their friends laughing together. Completely oblivious to the fact that two more supernatural people entered the cafeteria. Liam places his hand gently on my back and gestures for me to follow him. This is it.

Liam leads to me a large rectangular table which seats about eight people. There are already four people sitting there. Liam and I take the end seats across from each other.

"Hey guys!" Liam begins. "This is my friend Samantha Faye."

Friend?

"She's new here! It's her first day. You don't mind if she eats with us do you?" Everyone smiles at me and they nod their heads allowing me to sit with them. Everyone looks so normal. If I was just the typical clueless teenager, I would of never guessed that these people sitting with me, had some dark secret that they were hiding from everyone.

"Hey Samantha Faye, I'm Scott. It's nice to meet you." He looks up from his tray and greets me. He looks familiar, but I can't put my finger on it. All I know is that he's really attractive. Perfect shaped face, dark brown eyes and his smile sends chills throughout my body.

"Hi there! You can call me Sam by the way." Scott laughs and he continues to eat. No one else introduces themselves so I take this as the opportunity to catch a glimpse of everyone. The boy I am sitting beside has pale skin, short brown hair and he is actually quite cute. I've seen him before, but where? There are two other girls at the table as well. They are both really pretty. I almost feel out of place sitting near them. One girl has long wavy red orange hair (I wish I could pull that off), and the other girl has short brown hair. The boy sitting next to me raises his head from his tray and clears his throat.

"Since no one else is going to introduce themselves, I'll go next. Uh, Hi. I'm Stiles Stilinski." He places his right hand on his chest. "My father is a police officer. Sheriff is the proper terminology actually. I would advise you not to try anything too stupid like Liam has... He has gotten in quite a lot of trouble recently. Kind of a naughty little puppy -" Stiles stops talking immediately and scratches the back of his head.

"Puppy? What a funny way to describe someone there Stiles!" The girl with the red orange hair begins to speak. She smiles at me then introduces herself. "I'm Lydia Martin. It's a pleasure to meet you!" She looks away from me and gives a nasty but playful look at Stiles, who is staring down at his food.

"And I'm Malia Ha-Tate. Malia Tate. Hi. Welcome to Beacon Hills High School -" The girl with the short brown hair gets cut off by Stiles.

"You picked a great school, really! Such an awesome school. It's very special! It's so different from the other schools around here - OW! - What the heck? - Really Scott? Did you really just kick me under the - OW! OW! - Okay I'll shut up!" Stiles throws his hands up in the air while speaking. He settles down in his seat and continues to play with his food before actually eating it. Everyone smiles at each other and then keeps their heads down for a while, trying to play off the awkward silence.
