Gilbert Beilschmidt, or Prussia as he was known quietly made his way down the long silent corridor towards the World Meeting. He dragged his heavy boots along the ground as if he didn't want to be there. No one noticed him anymore since he was no longer a country. There was really no point in him being there, but he liked to see if he could get even just a little bit of attention.
Eventually after the dread filled trek, he arrived at the huge meeting. All the countries were discussing different matters. They hadn't even noticed he had walked in! Well he was soon going to fix that. "Hello! The awesome Prussia is here to brighten up your loser days!" He called out in his slightly croaky voice. He waited for a response patiently but none came. He furrowed his pale eyebrows and huffed. That trick was working less and less each day. Not even Germany looked up!
Silently the albino Prussian sat down by himself. "What's the point in allowing these idiots to be in my awesome presence? They don't care anymore..." Gilbert whispered in a voice very similar to a certain other forgotten Nation.
Mathew Williams sighed with defeat. He had been trying to get his point across to his American brother for about an hour without any luck. He decided to sit back and give up.
He was starting to think maybe there was no point in coming anymore. Just as he was thinking about leaving, a glimpse of pure white caught his eye. Of course. He knew the reason why he still came to the meetings. It was to see the beautiful Prussian Gilbert. Mathew had been in love with Gilbert for a while. The meetings were the only way Mathew would be able to see him. Mathew enjoyed watching Gilbert from a distance. It was much safer than trying to speak to him and screwing up. Mathew gazed at Gilbert with longing eyes as the Prussian boy petted his pet bird, Gilbird. "Today.. Today I'm going to say hello... I've got to!" The young Canadian whispered in his soft silky voice, "I'm going to be strong..." A small smile grew on his perfectly proportioned face which was framed by his wavy golden hair. He was planning out a little play in his head about how the future could be if the confident albino just knew he existed. The possibilities of good won against the bad in Mathew's eyes. He had to do it.
Eventually the world meeting ended and all the Nations began to leave. Gilbert stayed in his seat idly. He didn't feel like moving just yet. He let out a gentle sigh as everyone left things on friendly terms with each other. No one bothered with him. He felt like he was becoming more of a ghost. "Great... Another thing to add to the list of insecurities..." He mumbled and slowly stood up.
Just as he was about to leave, the snow haired boy felt something grab his arm. "Hm?" He turned around in slight shock to see Mathew clutching his sleeve. Gilbert raised a perfect eyebrow and stared at Mathew with shocked eyes. Mathew stood still. Nerves took hold of him as he started to tremble, still gripping the Prussian's sleeve. "Can my awesome self help you in anyway?" Gilbert asked surprisingly politely. Oh Mathew loved and admired Gilbert's confidence. Both boys stood in silence. A faint blush of embarrassment mixed with love appeared on the Canadian's cheeks. He was being an idiot just staring at Gilbert. Wait... Did he... Did Gilbert just respond to his sudden shirt grabbing? That gave the polite Canadian hope when he blurted out in a rushed, highly unattractive voice, "Hello!"
