Quietly the two boys walked down the darkening streets. The sun was setting the the streetlamps had just started flickering on. The streets were quiet and the scenery was peaceful ; perfectly romantic. Matthew's soft, warm hand shyly made its way to Gilbert's and their hands interlocked as they walked, enjoying the peaceful silence between them. Every now and then, Gilbert would sneak loving glances at the quiet Canadian. Everything about him was so perfect to Gilbert. How did he get so lucky? Matthew thought the exact same thing as the two walked. All his life he had never been noticed, now he was being noticed by Gilbert ; it was a dream come true.

Eventually the two love-struck men made it to Matthew's home. The simple log cabin stood alone from all the other houses but still looked cheery and welcoming. Matthew unlocked and opened the door. The entire decor was just maple leaves. "Hardly surprising," Gilbert smiled and mumbled to himself as Matthew hung up both of their coats. "I'm sorry it's a mess..." Matthew blushed as he quickly cleared the mess off of the coffee table and couch. "It's alright, dude," Gilbert chuckled and calmly waved his hand, "You should see my life!" They both laughed for a moment at the joke, but a small bubble of concern rose in the blonde Canadian's stomach. What was so messy about the awesome Prussia's life? Matthew tried to suppress the bubble and flopped down calmly next to Gilbert on the couch.

A gentle yawn escaped the pale Prussian's lips as they two cuddled each other. "Are you tired?" Matthew asked in a calm hushed voice as he played with the snowy ends of Gilbert's hair. The Prussian only replied with a nod before being scooped up in the Canadian's arms. A wave of surprise washed over him at Matthew's strength. Well it was better than trying to carry Matthew, which was not going to happen.

Carefully the Canadian carried his Prussian love interest into his bedroom. Immediately panic struck Gilbert. "We're sharing the same bed...?" He questioned cautiously as Matthew sat him down on the bed. "Mhm..." Matthew replied and handed Gilbert some bed clothes. Quickly the albino boy took them and hurried off to the bathroom to change. "Fuck... fuck... this can't be happening!" Gilbert squeaked to himself as he got changed. "What am I going to do?" He questioned himself as he pulled his shirt off and stared in the mirror. His body. How he loathed the misery he put it through. The binder. The packing. How was he going to explain it to Matthew? Hesitantly he pulled his binder off and slipped the bed shirt on. He took one sharp, deep breath and headed back to the bedroom.
