The Cat is Out of the Bag

You know how I was taking about the Eragon and Percy Jackson crossover I was doing? It's now up! It only has one chapter but I'll probably update it soon. Give me some feed back if you like it! Btw, this is the most biggest chapter I've done.

*Harry's POV*

We were all getting ready for the massive dinner. All of our close friends were invited. I saw Percy watching in awe at all to floating furniture. I keep on forgetting he only just learnt about the wizarding world. I remember the conversation Ron, Hermione, Ginny and I had the previous day.

*Flashback*

After we ate breakfast, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and I all ran to Ron's room. Once we were all in, Ron locked the door and Hermione put up a silencing charm. We all got to our spots and got comfy. Our topic of conversation was Percy.

"What could he be hiding?" asked Ginny.

That question was on all our minds. He appears out of nowhere with my parents and Molly treats him like he his own son. I'm pretty sure he doesn't even want to be here. We all look at Hermione for answers, but she looked just as confused as the rest of us.

"Well we just have to wait until tomorrow. For know lets play  Quidditch!" I announced .

Everyone nodded in agreement. Except for Hermione, she was probably going to read Hogwarts, A History again. We all grabbed our brooms and ran outside.

*Flashback Over*

It most almost time of dinner. Percy seemed jumpy and nervous. He was good at hiding it, most people would of fallen for it. But I knew he was, because I've also learnt to cover my feelings.  I have nightmares of all the people who have died for me. I don't want worry everyone with my problems, so I haven't told anyone about them. 

The first of the guess started to arrive. The Weasly family had stayed for another night so they were already here. Tonks and Remus where the first guess to arrive. Mum and Dad welcomed them, and let them in. My parents lead them to Percy who introduce himself to them. Remus squinted his eyes, deep in thought, like he was remembering something.

My Godfather was the next to arrive. I ran to the door and hugged him. It's been while since I've seen him. Sirius was more like his old self. He was laughing and smiling now and occasionally played a prank. After his near death experience, he could no longer turn into his Animagus. It die instead of him. (A/N: I know this can't happen but it works for my story so just go with the flow) 

"Woah, hello there Harry!" said Sirius.

"Hey Sirius," I replied.

Mum and Dad welcomed Sirius. They also led Sirius to Percy. Sirius had the same reaction as Remus had, like they were trying remember something. 

The last guest to arrive was Snape. We greeted each other. I no longer hated him. In the last battle against Voldermort, I found out he was actually the good guy and was working as a spy for the Order. He was bleeding out and nearly dying, before he died a lady with long flowing black hair appeared. She had a powerful aura surrounding her. I remember Snape calling her mum, but I thought he was delusional. Anyway she pulled out her wand muttered in a weird language, his wounds started to heal. Whatever she said saved Snape's life, than she disappeared with a pop. I've hadn't seen her since.

Lily greeted him but James hanged back, he still didn't like Snape. My parents again led Snape away to Percy. Unlike the last two, Snape didn't have a confused look on him. Instead the most weirdest thing happened, Snape hugged Percy. My parents looked as confused as everyone else was in the room. Percy hugged back, and said something. Whatever it was it made him laugh. I think that cut the cake. 

I made my way to Sirius. He still had a puzzled look on his face. I asked him what was on his mind.

"Percy, I know that name from somewhere," Sirius told me.

"Yeah well there is Percy Weasly," I  said to him.

"Non, no that's not it! No I've heard his name somewhere else, it's on the tip of my tongue!" Sirius said, frustrated with himself. 

I left Sirius to his thoughts and walked over to Remus. He too, had a confused look, but it looked like he had more of an idea then Sirius had.

"No that can't be him, his dead," muttered Remus.

"Who's meant to be dead?" I asked intrigue.  

"No one," Remus said quickly.

He didn't even look up at me as walked way. So Remus had a vague idea who Percy is. Only Snape really knew who he is. I walked over to my friends. All of them looked at for answers.

"So did you find anything?" asked Hermione, curious.

"Nothing really. Sirius is confused and Remus talked about someone being dead! The only person who knows something is Snape, and we know we're not getting anything from him!" I told them all.

We all played wiazrding chess for a bit. But then we all got sick of Ron beating us, so we changed to exploding snap. The adults where at the table drinking tea. Percy and Snape were in the corner of the room taking and laughing. It was weird to hear him laugh, I think it crept everyone out a bit. The twins were no where to be seen. I hope they don't get into too much mischief. 

"Dinner is ready!" exclaimed Molly.

Ron was up and away before you could say 'food'. We all filed into the dinning room. There's was roasted chicken and vegetables for tea. It smelt delicious! You can always trust that Molly's cooking. We all sat ourselves around the table. Everyone was chatting and eating the fantastic dinner. Except for Percy. He looked gloomy and was playing with his food. He let out a frustrated sigh.

 I was worried, whatever was on Percy's mind it was upsetting him and I didn't like that. I see him as friend, even though I only met him just a couple of days ago. He had a friendly and powerful aura surrounding him, making me feel safe in his presences. Percy could make anyone laugh (he even made Snape laugh!) and he made everyone happy as soon as he steps into the room.

It wasn't long until all the food was gone and everyone's belly was stuffed. Percy stood up and silences filled the air.

"Well as most of you know, I asked Lilly and James to set up this dinner so I could tell you guys everything."

Everyone nodded. I couldn't wait until he spilled the truth.

"Ever since I was one, everyone thought I saw dead. My mother died protecting me and my cousin from an evil man that you wizards use to call Voldermort."

Remus eyes lit up, realization dawned on his face. He finally knew who Percy was.

"My mums name was Sally Jackson."

Sirius' mouth dropped. I guess he knew too.

"And my mum is James' sister."

Wait?! Dose that make me...

"Harry, I'm your cousin," said Percy looking me dead in the eyes.

It took me a few minutes tor register the information. Percy Jackson was my cousin!
