Marissa's POV
I pulled up to the random but beautiful hotel the cab driver took me to and got out my wallet to pay him. Before I could even look at how much I owed him, I noticed the meter was at 0.00. "It's all set miss, any friend of sir Kameron is all set."
I looked up at him in confusion, who's cameron? I scratched my head and put my money away. "Excuse me sir but who is sir Cameron?"
He looked at me as if I had three heads, "Sir Kameron? The one who got the cab for you? He's a very lovely man, he works at the local bakery."
Hmph, so his name is Cameron? Welp, atleast now I can put a name to a face. I got out of the cab thanking the cab driver and watching him drive off. I stepped into the hotel that I'd be now living in for the next week or so until I find an apartment. I checked in and received my hotel room key and proceeded to go up to my room. It was on the 4th floor in room 647. It was fairly large for just me and quite pleasing. I grabbed my bags and started to unpack and settle into my temporary home. Looking at the time I saw it was only 6:30pm. I really should go out to explore find a job and buy a phone. I didn't even bother showering and changed into my Badwood hoodie, a pair of ripped jeans, and some flip flops. I grabbed my room key, a map that I took from the front desk, and my wallet and headed out.
Realistically I had no idea where I was going because I didn't really know where I was but I have to start somewhere. I looked at was around me and ironically found a phone store. Luck is on my side today! I walked into the store and looked around. I thought back to my beautiful little iphone 5s sitting in the plane and decided to get a new one. I walked to the counter and purchased the phone. As I was setting it up with the phone lady, I saw the strange boy from the afternoon. Cameron. He looked at me and smirked. I groaned and looked back at the women helping me who said I was all set and my phone was ready to use. I picked out a case and returned to the counter to purchase it. As I was taking out the money, I saw a credit card being given to the cashier. I looked up to see Cameron towering over me and signing the receipt the cashier had just given him. Who does this god damn kid think he is?
"Excuse you Cameron but I don't need you to buy me anything. I don't even know you." I spat at him, my voice full of anger.
He looked at me with wide eyes and started laughing. "How did you find out my name Rissa? I never told you it, but I just wanted to be nice and welcome you to town."
I squinted at him and rolled my eyes. "If you want to be nice, why don't you fall into a ditch? And the real question is how do you know my name?"
"Just know I have my ways! Would you like to grab a coffee" He said smirking.
"Of course not. I don't know you. It's as if you're stalking me. Fuck off." I said. He shrugged and grabbed my phone from the counter.
"THAT IS MY PHONE! Give it to me!" I yelled. At this point I'm just so over this kid. Here I am thinking i'm gonna have a fresh start but I have a fucking stalker. Nice. He gave me back my phone and walked away. I looked at the screen and saw his number and his newly made contact name which said baby with 3 heart eye emojis AND he texted himself. God he's disgusting. I stomped out of the store and decided to buy a pack. I've only been here for like 5 hours and I'm already 50 shades of done with London. I walked to a corner store I noticed on my cab ride which was only 5 or so minutes away and bought a pack of menthol marlboro 100's. I took a cigarette out, lit it and took a drag, calming my nerves. I felt my new phone vibrate and looked at the text from the only person who has my number.
From: Baby<3<3<3
"Let me know when you want to get that coffee and maybe I'll tell you how I know your name. Have a nice day Riss. XX Kameron"
This fucking guy. I ignored the text and walked back to the hotel while I finished my cigarette. I'm over this day. I'll look for a job and an apartment starting tomorrow. I looked down at my phone once more before entering the hotel. Kameron with a K.
