Gajeel p.o.v

After Mira made us practically run for our lives, me and the shrimp walked to my house.

"Alright see you tomorrow Gajeel." I suddenly heard the shrimp say.

"Where do you think you're going?" I turned around and grabbed her hair tie.

"Home. To my house." The shrimp said as if it was obvious.

"No you're not." I grunted.

"And why not?" She folded her arms.

"1, you're in no condition to walk home. 2, its late and there are a bunch of bad people out here who would see you as a target. And 3, you heard what Mira said. You are coming with me." I stared her down.

"Look, we're far enough from the guild, and Mira is probably asleep. We can regroup in the morning, Mira will never know. Unless you're scared of Mira." She questioned with a raised brow.

"Of course I'm not scared of Mira. I'm just, tch, forget it. Go ahead and go." I turned around and started to walk.

"No, wait, Gajeel." The shrimp sighed.

"What." I grunted and turned around.

"Tell me what you were about to say." The shrimp crossed her arms again.

"No." I glared.

"Your glare doesn't scare me Gajeel. You should know that already. Now tell me." She limped forward.

"No. Go ahead and leave. Go home for all I care." I said expressionless.

"No. I'm not going until you tell me. The more you neglect to tell me, the more I want to know." The shrimp pressed her little finger to my chest.

"The more you whine the more I won't say." I flicked her finger away.

"Tell me."

"No."

"Tell me."

"No."

"Tell me."

"No."

"Tell me."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"No."

"Yes."

"Thanks now spill." She smirked.

"You tricked me." I glared.

"It was only word play. Now tell me." She poked her finger on my chest.

"No. I don't have to deal with this." I turned to walk away.

The shrimp groaned, "Gajeel wait. Just tell me-"

The next thing I know, the shrimp tripped over something and she wound up in my arms.

"You caught me." She whispered.

"You would've injured yourself even worse if you fell." I looked away.

"But you still caught me." She turned my attention back to her bright hazel eyes.

"It was out of instinct." I said getting slightly lost in her beautiful eyes.

"Then why won't you just tell me what you were gonna say? If you had told me then I wouldn't have almost fell." She puffed out her cheeks.

"I was worried dammit." I growled.
