16) Jobless and Lost

I didn't go to class today. I couldn't. I was being accuse of something that has nothing to to with me. I would never put Trinity into danger.

I couldn't believe that he didn't trust me. The more I think about it the more pissed off I get. This has to be Harmonie.

I needed to clear my name. Its been three days and I miss my Trini. I know she's scared and I don't want her to think I abandon her.

My life had changed in these last two months.She has been the center of my little world and without our I'm just circling around. Its stupid but I feel as though I lost my own child.

I got up from my bed and took a shower. I needed to do something today. I needed to go out and clear my name. I had a friend in law enforcement so I know he can help me.

After my shower I got dress in my rip knee length shorts, my wife tank top, and my hot pink air max 90's.

I grabbed my bag and headed out. I sorta miss Odell's car to be honest. I really needed to work on that.

But between paying for school and my mama medical bills that ain't happenin' anytime soon. I finally for to the NYPD office and went straight upstairs to intelligence.

"Excuse me ma'am can I help you?" the secretary asked. Oh she new cuz everyone knows me.

"I'm here to see Dean"

"He doesn't have any appointments today. Would you-"

"I don't need one. I need to see Dean"

"Ma'am-"

"Just unlock the door. He knows me . He's-"

"Im sorry I can't do that" she said.

"Open the door" I said move forcefully.

"I will get you remove-"

"Bitch I wish-"

"Farrah? Whats going on" Dean said coming up the stairs.

"Hey, she wouldn't let me in" I said as I hugged him.

"Leanne this is Farrah, when you see her let her in okay."

"Yes sir" she said rolling her eyes at me. I scoffed and walked in with Dean.

"So whats been going on" he asked as we sat in his office.

"A lot" I sighed.

"Still in school?"

"Yea you know last year"

"So glad I'm done" he said.

"Now look at you. Your running intelligence. Bad ass!" I said smiling.

"Thank you. But it wasn't college that got me this job. They could care less about degree its that time you put in with that uniform man" he said smiling.

"I'm glad your doing better. But I need a favor" I said getting back to business.

"Uhhh how many tickets you ain't paid" he said laughing.

" I wish it was that" I said sadly.

"Then tell me baby"

"So I got fired from my job because child services did a background check and found a bunch of shit and I didn't do any of those things. It said I went to jail for two years for.I can't even remember all of those charges. And with all of those charges no amount of money could've gotten me out in just two years" I said spilled.

"Damn let me look into it aight. Emma look into it. I can't do it now cuz I'm clocked in and they check everything i check. If its something serious Ion wanna endanger you more aight. but tonight when I clock out, I'll come back in and check for you. Imma handle it" he said.
