Now I haven't heard anything from Farrah but when coach assistant tells me her mother is here to see me it raised some flags. I mean its like I can't get rid of this family. Trini and I are trying to move on.

"Ms. McCallister what brings you by" I said as I sat down in the conference room.

"Ms. McCallister why I haven't been that for over nine epic years. Call me gammy like ya baby girl does." She smiled. She reminded me of my own grandmother.

"Okay now whats wrong" I asked.

"I'm worried about Trini. She's been on m mind ever since that damn woman let her walk out at night in the middle of the street" she said getting upset.

"Wait what? Who?"

"Oh no you don't know"

"No I don't"

"Well I ain't the one to be gossiping but ya little girlfriend was a little over her head and long story short Trini left the house came to our door step around nine o'clock looking for Farrah. Fatima took her back apparently she lives about a block down from us and Trini remembered the neighborhood. Smart little girl she is. And anyway Fatima told me that when they got there it was swarm with police so I guess she did the right thing"

"Woah I need to process this. So Trini went to your home and Harmonie had no idea. And I am now just getting this information" I said in disbelief.

"Looksie here I know you a busy man and traveling is a part of ya job just next time you go out of town. Leave her with me or anyone else. I know you fired my daughter and for whatever reason thats fine. But that baby needs better! And remember these accusation don't sound like Farrah. There are two McCallister females in my family. Emma leave you with that."

"Thank you Mrs- uh gammy."

"Now let me go back before my caretaker realize I'm gone lord Jesus" she muttered as she left the room.

Practice was over and I was fuming. She lied right to my fucking face. I stopped by and picked up Trini from dance and drove to Harmonie's house. I wanted an explanation and I wanted it right the fuck now.

"Daddy?" Trini asked.

"Yea baby" I answered.

"Um can I go over to gammy's house please. I know where it is" she said.

"I know you do. Uh go ahead I'll come pick you up" I said.

I aint want her to be around if there was gonna be an argument. I watch as she walked down the street and saw Fatima open up for her. She waved and I waved backed.

"Baby! I thought that was your car!!" Harmonie said running out.

"Let me talk to you inside" I said walking past her.

"What's wrong babe?" She said as we sat down on her sofa.

"I wanna talk to you about what happened with Trini when I left you to watch her"

"What are you talking about. She's fine. That was like a week ago. I don't remember the full details"

"Oh so you don't remember letting my daughter walk in the middle of the FUCKING night!"

"She left without permission and who are YOU to judge me. YOU lost her the second day you got her!"

"Yea cuz I was too busy not paying attention to her like I should have. So what was so important to you that you weren't paying attention to my daughter."

"Look these things happen okay. She was fine and that's all that matters"
