Jordan pulls into the driveway, followed by her moving van.
"Just tell us where you want us to dump this stuff off at and we'll be on our way," the driver of the moving van says, glancing over at the house next door.
Jordan nods and walks up and opens the door excitedly. This is the first house she has ever owned without her mom and dads help or approval.
I'm twenty-two now, She thinks to herself, I can handle a house on my own.
She opens the door, and her eyes widen.
More like a mansion.Kian sits on his phone with Jc on the laptop beside him. Kian looks out the window.
"Someone is moving in." He says, turning his attention back to his phone.
"Probably another fangirl." Jc groans, "They can be terrible at times."
"Well, we might as well go meet this person. Fangirl or not, we have to live next door to them." Kian responds, "Or maybe it's a fanboy. That would be..."
"Strange." Jc says at the same time Kian says, "Different."
"Whatever." Kian rolls his eyes, "Let's go."
"Fine..." Jc shuts his laptop, placing it beside him. He pulls out his phone as he stands up. Kian puts his phone away as he stands up and walks towards the front door. He opens it hesitantly, and him and Jc walk out.Jordan watches as the movers carry her things inside of the house. She walks outside to get out of their way. She gives the neighborhood a quick glance before her gaze rests on two boys coming towards her.
"Hey," One of the boys say to her. The other one just sits there staring at his phone like he doesn't want to be there.
"Hi." Jordan says, biting her lip.
"So," the boy who spoke before says, waiting for her to give some kind of grand reaction or start a huge conversation. "I'm Kian and this is my friend Jc" he says, bumping his elbow into his friend and nodding towards Jordan.
"Oh," Jc says looking up. He notices the lack of jumping or screaming their names but he doesn't say anything, "Hey ya I'm Jc."
"We live together right to your left." The other one says, pointing to the house next to Jordan's.
"Well I'm Jordan. And as you can probably see, I'm just moving in," Jordan motions to the moving truck and the furniture being carried into the large house.
"So... Why'd you pick this neighborhood." Jc one asks, losing interest in his phone.
"Well... I don't know." Jordan shrugs, "I mean... I guess I wanted a house pretty far away from my parent's house. And I just wanted a house to my own."
"Nice." The one that originally started a conversation with her says... Kian, "No other reason?"
"Nope..." Jordan responds.
"Okay." Kian nods, "Well, if you need anything, we're next door."
"Okay." Jordan gives a little wave before going back into her new house.
"Where do you want this to go?" One of the people ask.
"Right there." Jordan points to a spot, biting her lip. Is she going to have to do this all day?Kian walks back inside with Jc behind him.
"Do you think she just didn't recognize us?" Kian asks.
"Nah... She probably will realize who we are later and go crazy." Jc looks at Kian as he goes to sit down on the couch.
"We shouldn't tell her..." Kian says.
"Fine by me." Jc shrugs, "One less Fangirl... Even if it is for a few hours."
"I don't think that she knows who we are..." Kian sighs.
"Okay. So then we don't tell her. Problem solved." Jc takes his laptop and places it on his lap, looking up at Kian, "What makes you think that we will have to get to know her?"
"She does live next door to us, Jc." Kian sits down next to him.
"I guess you're right." Jc shrugs, "So, Operation get-to-know Jordan is on."Jordan sits down on her couch which still has the plastic on it. She lets out a sigh.
"Finally. I can sit down." She looks around.
The TV is on the wall, the movers were kind enough to do most of the work. The only work she had to do was point and tell them where to put everything. And now she has to take off the plastic of nearly everything in the large house.
I'll save that for tomorrow, She thinks to herself.
She gets up to look for food, but when she opens the fridge she realizes that she needs to go shopping.
"Ugh." She says, grabbing her money.
She is about to walk out when she hears a knock on the door.Kian knocks on the door with a basket in his hand.
"Do you think she will like it?" Kian asks.
"I don't know. It has Starbucks stuff in it, so I guess." Jc shrugs, looking at his phone.
They hear footsteps and the door opens.
"Hey." Jordan says to them.
"Hi." Kian smiles, "This is just a housewarming gift."
"Oh, thank you." Kian hands the gift basket to Jordan and she takes it.
"If there's anything that you need help with, don't hesitate to ask." Kian tells her.
"Okay." She nods, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, "Do... Do you guys want to come in?"
"Uh... Yeah sure." Kian nods.
"What about our-" Jc starts, but Kian cuts him off.
"We'll do that later." Kian says quickly.
"Okay." Jc sighs, "I'll be at home."
"You can come in too." Jordan says, looking at him.
"Nah, I have some stuff to do." Jc turns around and walks back towards their house.
