I lowered my hand and rubbed my glossy lips together. I continued to stare at the back of the boys head before turning and glancing at Madison. She was sitting uncomfortably still while staring down at the blank screen on her phone. I pulled my bottom lip into my mouth and stare at the side of her face before reaching towards her but she surprisingly pulled away from me.

I raised my eyebrows at her before pulling my hand back and resting it back in my lap. I looked away from her to the boy again who was now too far away to see. I look back at her and pouted slightly.

"It can't be him." I said under my breath quietly but she reacted the same way she has been for the past five minutes.

I bit my lip, "Madison-"

"It wasn't him." she said lowly, cutting me off.

"But-" I tried to begin again.

"It wasn't him Chloe." she said more clearly this time, and looking in my eyes, hers slightly red.

I closed my mouth and shook my head okay and then looking away.

I clamped my hands together before separating them and standing up. I looked down at Madison and lower my hand to her, "Well come on sugar cheeks, lets go." I said, looking at her and smiling. She weakly smiled back and took a hold of my hand before I pulled her up. I locked arms with her as we set off to the car.

I shockingly watch Madison let Ryan hold her, her head was laying on his chest while his hand was wrapped securely around her waist, a smug smile on his face. He glance at me every so often and smirk and I silently shook my head and laugh. Ryan was surprised himself when she just plopped down beside him and laid her head on his chest.

His reaction was priceless until he finally gain courage and put his arm around her. It was honestly cute how close she was to him and literally holding him like a teddy bear. But it was also very strange because I am use to them yelling and hitting each other not being cuddly and quiet. It has been a long day for me since maddy wasn't acting her loud, dramatic, and laughing self.

Every since that incident in the park, Madison has been awfully quiet and down. Usually she would be talking my head off but for the past few hours she has not. I tried to get her to talk but all she would give me is a smile or a shrug of her shoulders..

Every since she saw him in the park, it was like it hit a nerve or a memory, I know everything came back to her once she saw him but I know it really crushed her when she saw him with another female, laughing and all. But after two years, I thought she would be over him but I knew deep down she could never.

I know how she feels about Marcus but even being with him all this time made me realize it doesn't change the fact that she still loves him.

I knew that was leo when I saw his blonde hair because I never seen a boy with hair like that ever other than leo. He seemed happy walking hand and hand with that girl who had the prettiest curls sitting on the top of her head.

She keeps denying and denying, and denying that wasn't him but she knew, she just didn't want to admit it. She was hurting on the inside and by lying to herself is the only way she could cope with the situation.
