Faking it

part 8.

It’s been about 3 months since the whole ordeal; school is over and I cannot wait! Audrey and I are renting a flat together in the city. It is going to be the best time ever, we’re both single and are ready to party till we die.

I haven’t spoken to or seen Niall since that weekend I broke up with Case. I haven’t heard much of Case either. I mean once he left school I was scared to message him, and he never messaged me so I guess he’s doing fine.

The flat Audrey and I have is absolutely amazing! It has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchen and living room.  I managed to get money out of my parents and bought really nice furniture and stuff. Audrey and I even work together at this brand new night club as waitresses.

Tonight is our first night at work and we are super excited! The uniform is so cute, and slutty; I love it! It’s a little black dress that cuts off right below my butt and we have to wear black heels of our choice. My dress has lace back with a low cut front, and I just have plan black 6inch heels. Audrey is wearing a simple tight black sleeveless dress with a little red bow on the hip and a deep red heel with black lace overlapping.  We look so hot; if we don’t pull a boy then they must be fucked in the head.

I was doing a pretty good job with all the orders and selling drinks and stuff. I got  few numbers on the side and plenty of tips.

“Macy, Audrey I want you both to get the orders from our V.I.P guests.” Our manager Kristy demands. I wasn’t going to argue; they’re probably huge celebrities and they’re friends!

I quickly run to the bathroom to touch up my make-up and fix my dress before I head over to the V.I.P table.

Audrey and I go over and my heart stops. There is a group of about 10; all extremely hot boys but that’s not what put me into shock. There are six of them I could not forget to save my life. One-fucking-Direction and….Case. I swear to fucking god, I am so screwed.

“What can I get you boys?” I ask them, acting as if I don’t know them. “Holy shit! Guys its Macy” Louis basically yelled. “And Audrey!” Liam smacked his shoulder for forgetting her. I glanced over at her and she was bright red of embarrassment or was she blushing? I don’t even know. “Hi guys” I say semi-excitedly. I tried not to look at Niall or Case the whole time. “What do yah want to drink?” I ask avoiding any conversation at all.  “Just bring us a couple of beers” Niall says flatly. “Alrighty I’ll be back” I say turning on my heel and walking to the bar to get their beer. “holy shit Macy, Niall and Case in the same room! How are you staying so composed?” Audrey questions. “I honestly have no fucking idea; I am freaking out on the inside” I answer carrying the beer back to them. “Here you go boys, if you need anything just come find me or Audrey” I suggest and walk to the entrance with Audrey. 

A few minutes later someone taps on my shoulder, and I have never been so scared and nervous in my life. I don’t know who it is so I turned slowly and met a tall brown haired boy with bright blue eyes and tattoos. Why does Case want to even talk to me after all this time? “Macy, we need to talk” oh fuck me. “I’m working right now Case” I say flatly. I really don’t want to talk to him right now or at all for that matter.  He grabs my forearm and makes me turn to look at him. “then talk to me after” he growls. Why is he so angry? I don’t understand. I’m not scared of Case, he’s just so much bigger then I and he is drunk so he’s very unpredictable. I rip my arm out of his grasp “Fine” I say a turn my back on him.

Work finally finished, and I barley had to speak to Niall; only when he asked for another drink. I tried to leave as fast as I could without Case seeing me but apparently it was no use, he was waiting for me at my car. “Macy” he greeted me. “Case” I returned.  “I know you slept with Niall before you broke up with me” he steps closer to me. My heart is racing a mile a minute. How does he know? “Ho-how do you know?” I was able to choke out. He gives me a manipulative deep chested laugh with a cocky grin “Oh Macy, you’re so naïve and stupid; you actually think I would never find out? When my best fucking friend walked in on you fucking him?” he yelled the last part with his face inches away from mine.  I try to step back but he grabs my arm. “I’m sorry okay? It just happened! And you cheated too! So don’t you even try putting on the blame on me!” I yell back.  “you fucking cheated first and then you even dare to blame me for cheating? You honestly are the dumbest fucking bitch I have ever met!” I scream. Okay, I normal don’t cry, but I can’t even control it this time. “Fuck you and get out of my way!” I yell trying to get into my car.  He blocks my way and pushes me backwards causing me to fall on my ass. I try to get up but stumble back onto the curb. Once I’m finally up I walk over and slap him right across the face crying.  “Get out of my way!” I scream even louder.  “Whoa, whoa! What’s going on?” Harry says walking out of the back door of the club were all of our cars are parked. “get the fuck away from me Harry!” I yell to him. He looked shocked. “What did I do?” he questions with his hands in the air. “Are you fucking kidding me? Are you honestly that retarded? You fucking TOLD Case that I fucked Niall! You told me you weren’t going to tell! You mother fucker!”  I was yelling so loud right now, my throat is killing me. All Harry did was look at his feet. He didn’t even have to say anything. I am so done with these boys all they have done is fuck up my life.

At this point all the boys are standing at the scene. Fuck them. I push Case out of the way of my car and I speed off. I am half way home when I get a phone call. “hello?”  I answer through my wireless in my car. “Macy, did you forget someone?” Audrey says sarcastically through the phone. “fuck sorry, I was so busy yelling at the boys” I say. She gives a light chuckle. “it’s fine, Harry is gonna drop me off” she says then hangs up. he better not come in the fucking house or I will murder him.

I get home and have a nice hot shower. I literally stood and let the hot water consume my body. After about half an hour I get out in just a towel. I walk into my room to see someone sitting on my bed; Looking at my pictures of me and all my friends on my wall. I cleared my throat and the boy turned around. It was Niall. Of course how did I now see this coming? I opened my mouth to tell him to leave but he spoke first. “I just wanted to see if you were okay, so don’t bother yelling at me” he says calmly. “I’m fine, thanks” I say with no emotion. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a pair of shorts and a tank top. “turn around” I demand. He gave me a confused look. “I think we have seen each other naked enough have we not?” he jokes. I guess he’s right; I just got changed and crawled into my bed, I couldn’t even hold it in anymore, I let the tears stream my cheeks. I felt a dip in the bed as Niall crawled in next to me and held my waist and soothing me with quiet calm words. I was crying so hard I started hyperventilating. Niall turned me to face him and I tucked my head into his chest as he hugged me tighter. “it’s fine, Mace; is going to be fine” he says into my ear, kissing my forehead.

After a couple minutes (which felt like hours) of endless crying I finally cried myself half way to sleep. I could feel Niall getting up, but I didn’t want him to go. I reached for his hand “Niall, please stay” I whispered. He lay back down with me and I fell asleep in his arms. It was probably the best sleep I have ever had.
