Authors POV

Jesse strolled into the campus radio station greeted by his new boss Luke, a British senior. The American boy smiles and sticks out his hand for a handshake.

"Hi, I'm the new intern, my name is-" Jesse was cut short when an even shorter beautiful brunette with a surprisingly hot alternative style catches his eye as she walks up to the pair.

"Jesse, yes I know. This is the other intern Becky. You two will be working together a lot so, please, no sex on the desk. It's been done before. Anyway, I'm out for a while. Becky knows what to do, you can head out at 6." Luke accepts the handshake and grins back, grabbing his jacket before heading out.

"It's Beca by the way, not Becky. So yeah, Luke just said to stack CD's and when we're finished, stack more. What a jerk." Beca sighs, walking in the direction of huge piles of CD's from different genres from hair metal to synth pop, and gestures for me to follow.

Both interns start stacking the CD's in silence until Jesse breaks it by clearing his throat. Beca shoots him a bemused look and laughs a little.

"Sorry, I just hate awkward silences." Jesse blushes, wincing on the inside and out.

"S'okay, you know we might as well get to know eachother. You cool with that?"

"Yeah! I mean, I'm down with that. So... Where are you from?"

Over the course of three hours, the brunette's both have found out much about the other. Not long after Jesse's awkward throat clearing, they were talking as they are brother and sister. When their shift finally comes to an end, both Beca and Jesse are kind of disappointed but of course neither says so.

As they get ready to leave, Jesse clears his throat again, this time to get Beca's attention.

"I'm starting to think you do that a lot." Beca winks, playfully hitting Jesse in the shoulder.

"Well I do, I thought maybe you might want to hear it my place Saturday, at say... 7?" 'Smooth' Beca thinks, laughing inside her head.

"Maybe. See you later, Jesse." She mysteriously walks away, winking before she does. Jesse grins like a love-struck puppy and when Beca is out of sight, fist pumps the air like John Bender on his favourite movie; the breakfast club.

"Oh hi Beca, nice of you to join us." Aubrey huffs, hands on hips.

"Sorry, I only just got your message. Why is there a Bella's rehearsal Thursday night at 6:30 anyhow?" Beca questions, sitting on the empty seat next to Fat Amy.

"Good question. Listen up everyone. Chloe and I have decided that two hours every week, we should brush up on our dancing skills." Aubrey informs the rest of the Bellas, everyone in the room apart from the captains groan until Chloe cuts them off with a reasonable explanation and working plan.

"Since the fall mixer was such a disaster we need to prepare for nationals. So, only half of us know the actual dance moves; we will work in pairs to make sure we are perfect! Right, Aubrey and Cynthia Rose, Jessica and Denise, Ashley and Stacie, Lily and Amy, Beca and myself. Get to work ladies!"

As everyone apart from Chloe and Beca partner up, the redhead nervously walks over to the table and neatly places the paper in piles. Beca smirks at Chloe's awkwardness and goes to join her, wrapping her arms around her waist and whispering in her ear like she knows Chloe loves: "let's make up, I'm sorry for yelling."

"I'm sorry too, I shouldn't push you like that. I just.. I love you Beca. Oh god I'm doing it again. I'm so sorry, I really don't want to make you uncomfortable around me." Chloe relaxes talking a long outbreak of breath and then panics again just as quickly.

"It's actually kinda cute. It doesn't make me uncomfortable at all, the only thing I care about is that my best friend is happy. I don't want to hurt you by leading you on in any way. I'm sorry I don't feel the same way, you know, I actually kinda wish I did have feelings for you. I'd be so lucky to have a smart, funny, beautiful, and hella sexy woman like you in my life." Beca admits to Chloe, winking as to make it less serious but of course, the compliments make Chloe blush a similar colour to her hair.

"But you don't have feelings for me, so..." Chloe deadpans then suddenly brightens up. "Alright. Let's dance!"

After an hour of learning the dance to the first song on the artist- price tag- Beca seems to have gotten the hang of it.

"Shoulders back, Becs!" Chloe grins while the younger girl huffs.

"How the hell do you put your shoulders back while you're dancing?! Show me!"

Chloe stands behind Beca and grips the older girls' hands onto Beca's bare shoulders. 'If only my hands were gripping her shoulders while she's going down on me.' Chloe thinks to herself, earning a flutter from the pit of her stomach.

"Uhm, chlo, you've kinda got your hand on my boob." Beca whispers making nervous laughter but thankfully Chloe can tell she's not mad about it. The redhead takes a glance over Beca's shoulder and sure enough, she has her hand on Beca's boob.

"Oh uh, yeah sorry about that." Chloe mumbles, quickly taking her hand back. Beca just smirks and starts the routine once again.

Finally, the two hours are up and almost everyone, the exception being Aubrey and Cynthia Rose, collapses in their chairs.

"Aca-bitches, my cousin is dj-ing tomorrow at the club Halo and I got you all invited on the V.I.P list for tomorrow night! And, because it's an hour away, a free nights stay in the Biltmore hotel above, we gotta share rooms though." Cynthia Rose grins as everyone cheers, while most girls are thinking about how drunk they were going to get, Chloe and Beca were thinking about eachother 'I hope I'm in a room with Chloe' and 'drunk Beca'.

"Alright everyone, rehearsals are over for today. See you all tomorrow. Meet at Chloe and I's room at 7.30." Aubrey smiles, waving the other Bellas off.

"Wanna hang out?" Chloe smiles running up to Beca.

"Always." The brunette smiles back, throwing a 'friendly' arm around the redheads shoulders.
