02. shower moments

my eyes were swelling and they sure hurt as hell as soon as i opened them.
i looked around my room, only to realize i fell asleep on the floor, right where i cried myself to sleep at the thought of ashton.
'ashton.' i thought as i helped myself to get up from the floor. "i need to see ashton." i finally spoke out to myself, grabbing my towel and walking into the shower.
i felt the warm water seeping into my skin as soon as i stepped in. feeling the therapeutic essence i get from the warmth, i turned the temperature a little higher from the heater. it wasn't too hot nor too warm. just right. and it felt good.
i stared right in front of me, my eyes widening at the sight of ashton.
i blinked and rubbed my eyes under the running water to make sure but when i opened them, he was gone. again.
i was sad again, missing the moments of taking a shower with ashton, of how he would giggle every time i would shampoo his hair or sponge-bathe his back, of how he would constantly kiss me every time i would play with his soggy and soapy locks.
i missed those shower moments with ashton.
"i miss you ashton, irwin."

i watched his face carefully, noticing the growing acne on his forehead. i didn't mind. luke is still the prettiest boy in my eyes.
i loved the way he would flutter his eyelashes, how he would furrow his eyebrows when he's mad or annoyed or pissed. the crinkles under his eyes when he's in a fit of laughter, simply his laugh, his voice, him. oh, i love luke hemmings so much.
i leaned in to take in his scent. the usual, it was minty lime. reminded me of the same shampoo he's using all the time. damn, i missed taking showers with luke. i wished we could just have a shower together right now. i wanna kiss him under the running water but i knew to myself that we can't do it. only if i could turn back time.
"i miss you, luke hemmings."
