Alyssa pov

I'm sitting there crying when i see a head of curls making their way towards me. Uuuggghh just what i want right now, i quickly wipe my eyes.He has a smile on his face likehe is so used to talking to girls and expects the same reaction again and again.

"Hi love the names Harry, do you need some company?" He says with a smirk.

"No" i snap back and look away. He touches my shoulder and i purposly shake it off.

"What's your proplem love" he sounds more frustrated now but he is trying to keep his cool.

"Number 1 stop calling me "love". And number 2 what is the point of you doing this" i get even more annoyed.
You know we are going to have to kill each other off anyway"

Another one of the boys, the bleach blonde, blue eyed one overheard the conversation and came over to us.

"Hwy lad i think you should leave her alone she is obviously right, we are going to have to be enemies is the arena anyway."

Harry listens to his friend and moves on to another girl. I smile at the blonde haired boy.

"Hi my names Niall Horan i love food, playing the guitar and singing he holds out his hand."

"Hi my name is Alyssa Mellark i do not like a lot of things like you, but i do like to throw tridents. Thanks for saving me there. Niall sits down next to me.

"Yeh he's a player, thank god you didn't fall for it.

"Yeh me to, would have had my heart broken for sure when i killed him in the arena. I wanted to change the subject. But not sure what to talk about.

"So are you excited for the games........"?

"No" i answer honestly.

"Me neither" he relaxes a bit more. "Some people think it's a big honour being chosen. But i don't believe it. My eyes go wide.

"You to" i ask all suprised.

"Yeh" he smiled nervously. No one but us that i knew of thought this way.
A loud deafening beep came fron the speakers above us
"ALL DISTRICT 4 TRIBUTES MUST REPORT TO THE TRAINS IMEDIATLY"

Guards come through the doors and grab our arms to take us to the trains. Niall intwined his hand with mine in panic.
