Chapter 2.
Royce went over to the bank and left me at the house, he tried to persuade me to go with him, but I wouldn't budge. I usually got what I wanted, when I wanted it. I was setting up the church today, then later tonight i would go see Vera. I was SO excited. I decided i needed to get dressed. I ran upstairs and went inside my huge closet. I was debating weather to wear jeans or a dress..? I decided a dress would do. I put my favorite lacy white dress on, and some heels, I couldn't wear stilettos i always fell over... I grabbed me cream coat and hat and headed out the door. I decided to walk to the church instead, A nice bit of exercise would do good for me. As i was walking men turned there heads in my direction while i was walking past. I loved being the most beautiful person on this town, Except for Dr.Cullen and his family...They were the most beautiful people I'v ever seen in my entire life. But i don't think they lived in town, so the situation remains the same. I'm the most beautiful person in the town. Once i arrived at the church i seen my mother.
"Morning, Mother" I smiled.
"Morning, Dear, How did you sleep?" She asked, as if she didn't really care, I think she was a little busy at the moment. I decided to answer anyways.
"Um...Fine, And yourself?"
"Uh..Grand, Where's Royce?" She said looking at me for the first time since i got here.
"At the bank, he said He'll be back around four" She looked up. "Oh, Okay" she sounded upset?
"Something wrong?" I asked. She sounded really upset.." No, I'm fine.. why would i be upset?" There was some emotion spread all over her face, i couldn't find out what it was, so i decided to give up.
" I don't know...It doesn't matter anymore. I have to run and get My dress.I'll see you later?" I knew I was meant to set up the church with my mom, but she seemed to have everything under control.
"Hm..Okay" She said uninterested. She could be so arrogant sometimes, even to her own daughter. When i got the the wedding dress shop, she already knew who i was. Everyone knew who I was. I didn't even have to tell her my name, she just handed me my dress, I payed for it then left. I ran home and upstairs into my Closet to try it on, It look perfect. My life is really a dream come true. i put my dress back in the white bag and hung it up. After all i didn't want Royce to see it. I went downstairs and saw Royce on the couch watching Tv, what a shocker. i sat down beside and place my head on his neck. He spoke for the first time. " Uh...Rose I'm going over to Harry's to meet John"
"Oh..Right, I forgot" I said foolishly." I'll go get ready and head over to Vera's" I smiled the best that i could. He didn't buy it. He kissed me stood up and left. I went upstairs and pinned my cream hat on my head, so it wouldnt fall off, and shrugged into my cream coat. I rang Vera to let her know i was on my way. She said okay and I left.
