Surprises

Later that day Ino, Sakura and I went to a bakery near the gifts shop. It was around 12:47 you can't blame us. We stopped in and looked around, nothing really seemed tasty.

Then a food caught my eye. Cinnamon rolls.. My mouth instantly started watering by just looking at them.

"Uh.. Earth to Hinata.." Sakura said tapping my shoulder, "Hinata?"

"Cinnamon rolls..." My mouth still watering as I walked into where they were.

I snapped out of my daze and went up to the cashier. "Excuse me, could I get a cinnamon roll please?"

"Of course dear," she said and walked over to the cinnamon rolls. Cinnamon rolls....

I was brought out of my daze when the lady handed me a brown paper bag. I have her a questioning look. "It's inside the bag," of course it is... Idiot.

I quickly pulled out the correct amount of money and payed for it. "Arigato," with that I happily went  over to my friends, avoiding the people around me.

"Well then," Sakura said with an amused look. "That was some sight."

Ino laughed, "oh please!" She slapped Sakura on the back, "I've never seen anyone so distracted by food. Well except Naruto and his ramen and Choji."

"Ino-pig... Ever slap my back again the only thing you will feel is your neck being snapped." Sakura said with a annoyed/deadly look.

"I would like to see you try, billboard  brow," Ino said back connecting foreheads with Sakura.

"Ha..ha.. Guys c-come on..." I gave a worried look, "let's just continue on o-our way.. Hehe?"

After a little bit we walked out and headed to our next destination.  I happily skip there while eating my warm, delicious cinnamon roll...

"Look at this! Do you think he'll like it?" Ino said holding up, well I don't even know what it is.

"No."

"Aw come on.." Ino said with a pouting face.

"No." Me and Sakura said in unison once again.

"Fine, I'll just get him some flowers at the flower shop my parents own." She said annoyed

We kept looking around for a while longer. I sneaked away from them and went over to a different section since we were getting nowhere. I came to a stop at the stuffed animal  section. I strolled through the aisles, when I stop at a certain one. At the every end was a red fox with nine tails. I remember learning about a mythical fox creature with nine tails back in primary school..

Hoping he would like it, even though you could consider it "childish" I got it anyways. I went my ways back to my friends.

"H-hey guys.. Look this be nice?" I held up the stuffed animal.

"Awwww, that's cute," Ino said.

"He'll like that, I mean when we were younger he always have off a fox grin." Sakura said clearing up some facts.

"Good."

"I'll be off n-now!" I called to my friends who were heading the other direction. When getting home I was met with my aunt.

"So Hinata-chan, how'd it go?" She said leaning against the wall.

"It went good," I said putting my bag down and taking off my shoes. "I got a few things."

"Whatcha get?" She eyed the bag.

"Just a pair of chopsticks with the food narutomaki on it and a nine-tailed fox stuffed animal."

"That sounds interesting.. Dinner is ready come and eat," then she walked off.

Awhile after dinner, I headed up to my room to wrap my gifts. Halfway up the stairs it hit me. I had no wrapping paper. I retraced my steps down the stairs.

"Hey auntie," I entered the living room. "Do we have any wrapping paper?"

"Sorry sweetie," my aunt looked my way, "we don't."

"O-ok, I'll buy some from the store." I raced to the door and grabbed my shoes. "I'll be going!"

"Wait Hinata-" that's all I heard before I closed the door.

I was almost there when it started pouring. Crap... I had no umbrella with me. I started to run to the store, but slowly so I don't slip in the puddles. Then all of a sudden a pair of arms pulled me back into an alleyway, that I never even saw. I struggled trying to get out of their grasp, when a voice spoke.

"You're okay now," I quickly looked up to see who my kidnapper and probably raper was.

Cliche... "O-oh umm... Thanks.." My face heated up.

"Oh! Here's  an umbrella," he then took off his jacket and put it around me.

"T-thanks.. Uh, Naruto-kun.." Pretty cliche, huh?

"Let's wait the rain out," he said looking around.

This day was just full of surprises.
