You hide many things of yourself,
Like the sorrow behind your smile.
You don't want anyone to know,
How you truly feel inside.
The mask you put on,
To keep the smile on the outside.
As the darkness closes in,
You struggle to keep a smile.
The river of tears goes on and on,
You can still see it from miles.
Your fake smile has done no good,
The darkness has won.
As it slowly takes over,
You think happiness, ha, there's none.
