09.

Recap:

"Oh." She said turning back for the clothes. I looked up at her and squinted my eyes.

"Wait, how'd you know?" I asked.

"Oh, um... He told me... in catering today. Yeah, we ran into each other." She chuckled.  I sent her a look in confusion before shaking my head and focusing my attention back on the clothes.

"Wear that one, it's cute." Emma said pointing to a black two piece dress set.

"You sure?" I said holding it up and looking at it in the mirror.

"Of course. Why else would I tell you to wear it?" She said grabbing a handful of her popcorn. I swear she's always eating.

"Where are you going to anyway?" She asked.

"A thing." I said looking for shoes to pair it with.

"That's what you told me yesterday. I'm your bestfriend, you tell me everything!"

"I know that. And I told you, it's a thing I have to go to. It's really not important so don't worry about it." I said walking into the bathroom.

I pulled into the parking lot and got out. I rolled my eyes and groaned as I was going into the 'Date of Hell.'

I walked up to counter and checked in.

"Banks." I said. He looked through his computer and frowned.

"Sorry, that's not on the list." I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion before groaning.

"Kaester." I said flatly. He looked through his computer again and smiled.

"Yes, right this way." He stepped from behind the counter and began leading the way.

I got to the table and looked at my date in disgust. He looked up at me and smirked.

"Kaester? Really, Seth?" I asked as I took a seat.

"What? It was funny." He said before chuckling. "Why so angry?"

"Because I had to skip dinner with Finn to see you." I said grabbing a menu.

"Again, why so angry?"

"I went shopping with your little girlfriend yesterday."

"See? She's a nice person, right?"

"Oh yeah, she's nice, but she's a sneaky one. I don't trust her."

"And you wonder how I feel about Finn."

"Why am I even here anyways?"

"Because I wanted to talk to you about our storyline."

"What's there to talk about? We already confirmed everything yesterday."

"I want us to be on the same page if we're gonna kiss."

"Ew, I can't believe I have to kiss you."

"That's exactly what I'm talking about. I'm not gonna work with you if you acting like this!"

"Acting like what?!"

"Like an immature child who can't be serious about anything!" He yelled. I fell back in my chair  as his yelling shocked me.

"Um, I gotta go." I said before grabbing my purse and walking out.

I made it to the right floor and began walking down the hall looking for the right room. When I found the room, I began knocking. The door swung open to reveal Finn.

"Hey." He smiled as he leaned against the doorway.

"Can I come in?"

Yes, another cliffhanger. I'm so sorry this chapter was horrible, in my opinion.More great chapters will come in the future so don't worry.
