____________

Lindsey groaned, pushing himself up from
the blowup mattress. He ran a hand through his hair, shaking his head. Lindsey headed toward the bathroom, shoving the door open. He grabbed the comb, running it through his hair.

He splashed cold water on his face, looking up at the mirror. His reflection stared back at him, and he could hardly recognize himself. "You're pathetic, Buckingham." He muttered, closing his eyes.

Lindsey pulled his shirt off, exchanging it for a button-down t-shirt that he left unbuttoned. He slid on some shoes, heading out the door. Lindsey went in the direction of Stevie's house.
_____

He knocked on the wooden door, taking in all the beautiful flowers and the scent of daises that floated through the air. The door swung open, startling the man. "Uh, hey." He smiled weakly at Stevie, who was cradling Mac in her arms.

Stevie looked surprised to see Lindsey, but a sliver of happiness shone through in her eyes. "Hi! Are you here to get the rest of your things?" She asked, grinning.

"Yeah, I am." Lindsey shifted awkwardly, "I'll be out, as quick as I'm in!" Stevie quirked an eyebrow, giggling. "That sounded really dirty," He laughed uncomfortably, "It'll be quick."

"You just cannot stop with the sexual phrases can you?" Stevie shook her head, stepping aside to let him in. Her eyes grazed over his body, drinking in his sweet abs. She took a deep breath, shutting the door and sitting the dog down.

He'd been honest, it took two minutes to get the rest of his belongings. "That's it," Lindsey headed toward the door, but Stevie grabbed his arm. "What?" Stevie just shook her head, and opened the door. The truth was, she wasn't ready to let go. Stevie didn't want him to be out of her life forever, she didn't want to lose him.

"Goodbye, Lindsey."

"Goodbye, Steph."
