Star Wars Rebels: Skywalker

Part 1

<Ezra's pov>
I got up and walked out of the Ghost and went to Capital City. I saw some bucket-heads and decided to make some fun out of the trip to the town. I had one detonator left from the last op, so I set it for 5, threw down at them, and after it went off, it exploded and bits and parts of then were purple. I grinned and hopped off the roof I was on. When I did, I heard someone laughing. I looked around and saw someone with a hood on. I couldn't tell who it was because her hood covered her face. I could tell it was a girl because of the way she was laughing. But one thing made me stare at her. She had cuffs on and she was holding a lightsaber. I stared at her and she just looked at me.
"Um, could you help me get these off please?" she said.
I looked at her, then I decided not to creep her out and helped her take the cuffs off. When I did, I could feel something but I couldn't tell what. I'm guessing she had the same feeling because I could tell she was looking at me. She cleared her throat and held out her hand.
"Hi, I'm Mirage. What's your name?" she said.
"Ezra, nice to meet you," I said and shook her hand. Once we both let go, she moved her robe back and clipped the lightsaber to her belt. I stared at her again. "Ezra stop staring at her, your creeping her out," I thought to myself. I'm guessing she felt me staring at her because she was looking at me.
"I'm not taking off the hood, okay?" she said.
I nodded because I didn't want to say anything. She giggled when I did. Then she moved her hand up and took off the hood. When she did, that just made me stare at her more. She had her hair cut short like Sabines, but it was a light shade of blue. She had light blue eyes and she was smiling.
"You look pretty," I said without thinking.
She smiled and just nodded.
"Follow me," she said.
I did what she said and followed her. She jumped surprisingly high and made it to the top of the roof.
"You coming Ezra?" she said, giggling.
I crouched down and jumped. It surprised her when I made the jump. Then she began running again. I sighed and followed her. When I caught up with her she stopped and jumped off the roof. I did what she did but didn't land as good as she did. I fell over when I landed. She laughed and helped me up. She started walking and stopped in front of a door. She opened it and walked in. I followed her inside and stopped immediately when I walked in. It looked as abandoned as my parents house did. She walked to a chair and sat down. I looked around. I sat down next to her and she turned to face me.
"Okay, who are you, why does this place look like my parents and why did you ask me to follow you?" I asked her.
She smiled but it didn't look like it did when she smiled at me before. I guess I must've asked too much.
"I already told you my name, this place looks like your parents because it is your parents and I asked you to follow me because you said your name was Ezra and I wouldn't have asked you to follow me if you weren't Ezra. I'm here because I heard that there were rebels fighting against the Empire so I decided to see if it was true," she said, looking down.
I didn't know what to say. But something about that didn't feel right.
"Wait, you said you wouldn't tell me to follow you if my name wasn't Ezra, what did you mean by that?" I asked her.
She smiled, then signed and spoke.
"I said that because I herd a about how you said your name was 'Jabba' when Kallus asked your name so I eventually found out your name from-" she stopped herself from saying who told her. I understood why. I don't think she wanted to give me too much information about herself or where she came from. I smiled at her and she smiled back. Then I couldn't stop myself from what I said next.
"Do you know Kanan and are you a Jedi?" I asked her without thinking.
She looked at me with a little fear when I said that. I bit my lip, but she sighed and spoke.
"Yes, I know Kanan, and yes I am a Jedi," she said, looking down again.
I just stared at her in disbelief. She was a Jedi and had a lightsaber just like Kanan but I didn't know what colour it was. I was about to ask her what colour it was but she stood up, grabbed her lightsaber, and ignited it. I stared at her lightsaber and I was a little surprised at the colour it was. It was purple and she swished it around. I stared at her lightsaber and gasped a little. She giggled when I did. Then she spoke again.
"Follow me, again," she said and walked out of the house. I followed her and she ran. I ran after her. I could hear her laughing as she ran so I ran a little faster to catch up. Once I caught up, I found it impossible for her to run any faster but she did I.
"Catch me if you can," she said. I tried to run faster but I almost tripped when I did so I just jumped to catch up with her. We got out of the city but she just kept running. I was almost out of breath. When she stopped running, we were in front of a tower. I stared at the tower and had the feeling I was here before. She opened the door and went inside. I follow her and she started running up the stairs. I sighed and did the same. Once we reached the top, we were both out of breath. I was too tired to stand up anymore, so I collapsed and she started laughing again. I started laughing too and it felt good to laugh. Then she opened the door and walked out onto the top of the tower. I followed her and smiled. I smiled too. She sat down and I sat next to her. She looked out onto the city, looking like she was thinking of something. Then she spoke again.
"Ezra, I thought I would find it better on lethal than on...where I came from but it's just worse. I didn't think a planet like this would end up so...fearful," she said.
I nodded, then I started feeling anger towards the Empire. I didn't even know where the anger came from but after she finished her sentence, it sort of stung after hearing her say what I thought out loud. I couldn't stop myself again from talking.
"Do you want to help us fight the Empire?" I asked quickly.
She stared at my in disbelief, the nodded. I stood up and walked back inside. She followed me, then she ran down the stairs. I sighed and chased after her. Once we reached the bottom, I walked out and said "Okay, this time you follow me and," I started running, "try and catch up with me," I said. She started running after me. We reached the Ghost pretty fast when we were running. When we reached there, she stopped immediately. I didn't know why she stopped but I just said, "They'll be nice, I swear," I crossed an 'x' on my heart and she nodded and walked closer to me and walked into the Ghost. I followed, making sure she doesn't freeze again. When we reached the common room, everyone was there and they all stopped what they were doing when they saw Mirage, even Chopper. She stopped walking when Kanan stood up. They both looked at each other, then they both hugged. Everyone looked dumbstruck, I even felt like that. When Hera walked in and saw them hugging, she nearly broke into tears. They both pulled apart, then Kanan said, "It's good to see you again Mirage." She smiled and looked around the room. She still had the robe on and it looked like she wasn't going to take it off anytime soon. But, she surprised me again by taking it off. She had armour like Sabine but it was a dark shade of blue. She seemed to like the colour blue a lot. I smiled at that thought. Chopper started making laughing noises, so I didn't know how she would react. It surprised that all she did was close her eyes. Then Chopper started floating around. I forgot that she was a Jedi but I didn't believe her until now. Zeb started laughing until he started levitating as well. Chopper wasn't doing anything and Zeb started waving his arms like crazy. I smiled a little when they started floating higher and Zeb was begging her to let him down. Fortunately, she let them down eventually. Zeb looked a little scared, which was new to me since I never see him scared and Chopper rolled right out. Mirage smiled a little.
<Kanan's pov>
I was playing with a ball when Ezra walked in with someone. She looked familiar to me but I couldn't remember where I saw her last. Everyone stopped what they were doing, even Chopper. I stared at the girl, then I got up and she stopped walking. I was fighting the urge to smile but is was hard when she was the girl I took care of for a long time when the Empire started. I stopped in front of her, then without thinking, I hugged her and she hugged me back. I smiled a little then I heard a door open. I'm guessing it was Hera because I heard a gasp. We pulled apart and I said, "It's good to see you again, mirage." She smiled and looked around. I heard Chopper making laughing noises and I just wanted to chase that rust bucket but Mirage got tot hat first. She closed her eyes and Chopper started floating around. Zeb started laughing and I was about to tell him not to but Mirage got to that first again. Zeb started floating around like Chopper and started begging to be let down. Mirage smiled and let them both down and opened her eyes. Chopper rolled out of sight and Zeb looked a little scared. I could tell that Ezra was smiling. I glared at him and he stopped smiling. I started feeling happy once I saw Mirage again and she smiled again.
