I was at the bottom of the stone staircase that leads to the shrine, breathing heavy along with Sasuke and Sakura.
I watch as Naruto run up the steps while carring Idate on his back.
"You're kidding. how does he do it?" Sakura question in disbelieve.
"I don't think I could last that long like Naruto, even with my wings." I panting.
"Well, no one ever accused that kid of not having energy." Sasuke said before he grab my hand and pull me along as we ran after them.
"Sasuke, wait for me!" Sakura called behind us.
I could hear cheering from the top of the stone staircase.
"I hear cheering. That's must means their get the jewels." I said excitedly.
"Then we better hurry and catch up to them." Sasuke said. "Who knows if Aoi will make an appearance once more."
Sasuke turn his head to me. "I think it time for a little boost." He said.
I look at him unsure. "But Sasuke I haven't mastered that just yet. I can only make it last 10 sec max." I told him.
"What are you talking about!" Sakura asked from behind us.
We ignored her. "That's okay, it's enough." Sasuke said with a smirk.
I look at him for a moment before nodded. "Alright." I agreed.
I turn to Sakura and held my hand. "Take my hand." I told her.
"What?! Why?" Sakura asked confused.
"No time to explain! Just do it." Sasuke said, irritated.
Sakura recoil by his tone before taking my hand.
"I, Phoenix Princess of the Mikage, call onto the fire of the Phoenix, to come and share it's flame and grant me speed." I chanted as wings spread out and my chakra covered my body.
My chakra expand to Sasuke and Sakura, covered them with it.

They both gasp when wings appeared on the backs.
"Here we go!" Isaid before we launch off the ground and fly across the forest.
Sakura let out a startled shriek as she didn't control the wings while Sasuke went with it.
The technique worked as we arrived just in time to save Idate from Aoi.
I drop the jutsu and fall to my knees, exhausted as Sasuke had throw kunais at Aoi.
"Idate!" Sakura called out.
"Hey, guys! Excellent timing!" Naruto said reliefed. "Huh? Nikki, are you okay?"
I look up as I pant heavily and saw Naruto looking me worried while I was covered in sweat.
