My eyes roamed Ross' busy house. There was already several people piling in. Should I go or should I stay. Next thing I knew I was pulling on some boots and heading over.
My stomach felt queasy and my hands started getting clammy. This is exactly why I don't go to parties. I'm already panicking. What am I doing going over to a party where I'll have no one to talk to. I'm going to look like a loner. But I
ignored my negative instincts and went inside.I received a few strange stares and smiled back nervously. All of the sudden I felt my hands being pulled. It was Ryan. "Hey let me get you started with some beer?"
I opened my mouth to tell Ryan that I don't drink but he was too quick for talking and he handed me a red cup. "Beers in a gigantic cooler in the kitchen, have fun!"
I wanted to ask where Ross was or if he could stay with me a little while longer but he had already gone. I felt lonelier than ever. "Hey you! Brown sexy curls!"
I turned in so many directions. I looked like an idiot. "Hey, I'm Stacey, have you seen the cute blonde host walking around by any chance?"
That had to be the Stacey Ryan mentioned yesterday. She was absolutely stunning. Her hair was long, straight, and blonde with highlights. She had green eyes and a cute diamond stud nose piercing. Maybe she's Ryan's girlfriend. "Are you talking about Ryan Lynch?"
She laughed, "Nah. Ryan is probably screwing someone as we speak. I'm talking about his younger brother, Ross."
I furrowed my eyebrows. She definitely wasn't Ryan's girlfriend. Unless she's extremely careless of their relationship, but I doubt that. "Um... Nope I haven't seen him myself. Want to look for him together?"
She nodded her head, "Sure. Oh your cup is empty we should get a drink while we're at it."
Something about her made me want to loosen up. I wanted to be cool, even if it was for a night. "So Beer?"
"I was thinking tequila, actually," she said nonchalantly.
Beer was one thing but tequila, I didn't have a good feeling about this. "Um... that's fine too."
She filled my cup to the top and motioned me to follow her. "What's your name anyway?"
"Laura."
Stacey's eyes enlarged, "Oh my gosh that's how you know Ross and Ryan! They were talking about you earlier today."
My cheeks reddened, "Really?"
"Speaking about Ross he's right over there!"
She came behind Ross putting her hands over his eyes while I silently stood beside them. "Guess who?" Before he could guess she turned him around and her lips took place over his. She was Ross' girlfriend. I felt like a stupid girl getting heart broken over a stupid boy. I began walking away.
"Laura! Where are you going?" Stacey shouted.
Ross opened his eyes quickly, "Did you just say Laura?"
