Mitch and I have been dating for a while, but I had never really taken him any were other then a McDonald's or Bugerking. This was my chance to take him somewhere special, something he will remeber for a while.
"Jerome, just tell me where were going" Mitch said, trying yet again to get me to tell him.
"I'm not telling" I said as we neared closer to the outpost. I heard Mitch let out a huff, and saw him cross his arms in frustration.
"Are we almost there" he asked likes little kid, still having disappointment in his tone.
"Almost" I said as I turned up the twisty mountain road. I felt myself smile as we neared the top, and I parked at the edge of the mountain. As soon as we stepped out of the car, Mitch was staring at the stars. I put a blanket down at a dirt patch and pulled him down next to me.
"This is so beautiful" I heard Mitch sigh as he pointed the big dipper out to me. I held his open hand and looked at where he guided me. I felt him squeeze my hand while showing me a few constalations. I felt him look at me, and looked into his brown eyes, moving our lips closer until he closed the gap. As we pulled apart he smiled at me.
"This is so much better then Burger King" he said as he continued to look at the stars, but all that had caught my attention was the beautiful sight Mitch was.
