School

It was time for school and I was actually excited for once. I'd get to see Grayson after our little text "thing" last night but I was also scared. He was 17, I was 16. He was in the year above me, what did he want to talk to me for?

When I eventually got to school, I had my usual boring lessons and then it was lunch. I did my usual stuff and went to my usual table with Eleanor, Bella and Jade. I didn't mention anything about Grayson to them but I hadn't seen him all day and as I looked around the lunch hall, he didn't seem to be there either. My heart sunk a little. He told me he would see me. Was that his way of just saying bye because he didn't want to talk to me anymore? No. Of course not. He was the one who wanted to talk in the first place. Where was he then? I usually saw him, was he avoiding me? No, he's probably ill or something... So many questions but no one to give me answers.

The day went by and I didn't see Grayson at all so I was stubborn and waited for him to text me first. I didn't have to wait for long. The moment I got home, I had a text from him.

Grayson: Where were you? X

Rose: Don't give me that bullshit, you know where I was. Where I always am. Where were you then?

Grayson: Sorry, I was busy today x

Rose: Whatever.

Grayson: You say that a lot x

Rose: Well done.

Grayson: What's your problem Rose? :/ x

Rose: You.

Grayson: Why? X

Rose: You're a fuck boy & I don't wanna be involved in that. I'm not one for just being played or part of a game. Whatever you want with me, stop.

Grayson: Don't call me that!! I want to get to know you :) x

Rose: Truth hurts Grayson & no you don't. Lads like you only want one thing.

Grayson: I'll prove to you that I'm not x

Rose: Whatever. Good luck with that. We both know you can't prove it. So why did you avoid me today?

Grayson: I didn't. Told you I was busy x

Rose: Hmm, again with the bullshit. Whatever. How did you actually get my number?

Grayson: I told you, Eleanor must've given me yours by accident :) x

Rose: Bullshit. She knows her own number.

Grayson: Idk but I'm glad I got your number instead :) x

Why did this make me happy... My heart raced.

Rose: Yeah, ok.

Grayson: Send me a picture of you :) x

Rose: There we go, knew it was coming. That's all you want.

Grayson: What do you mean? X

Rose: The stupid pictures. That's all you want & I knew it.

Grayson: I want a picture of YOU. Your face, idiot. X

Rose: No, I look like shit.

Grayson: I know but send me one anyway ;) x

Rose: No.

Grayson: I'll send you one, I know you love my face ;) x

Rose: Fboy...

Grayson: It was a joke, chill Rose x

Rose: K.

Grayson: One word answers annoy me so much. Why are you so stubborn? X

Rose: Because I don't like being messed around with.

Grayson: You've gotta learn to trust x

Rose: You make it very difficult

Grayson: You don't know me well enough x

Rose: I know what you're like.

Grayson: I'm going to bed now Rose, good night. See you tomorrow :) xx

Rose: Yeah I'll believe that when I see it. Night.
