Back To The Beginning

It's been a few days now since my argument with Grayson. He has tried to contact me but I told him I need a little bit of space so I have ignored his texts and calls.

It was finally the weekend, this meant I could relax without worrying about physically bumping into Grayson. I decided it was best to finally start talking to him again though so I replied to one of his messages.

Grayson: Please stop ignoring me now, I'm so sorry x

Rose: I'm back.

Grayson: Ethan told me what you wanted to tell me x

Rose: that's what I'm doing. We're going back to the beginning where I didn't trust you & we just talk by text. I think it's easier on us both if we aren't seen together.

Grayson: I want to start over with you Rose, but I don't want to not be seen together. That's shit! x

Rose: I don't believe that for one minute. Your past actions have told me otherwise.

Grayson: I fucked up. Bad. But I want to prove to you that I'm not who you THINK I am x

Rose: good luck trying to prove that.

Grayson: I'll do whatever it takes to make you mine x

Rose: K.

Grayson: come meet me? X

Rose: I'm busy.

Grayson: doing what? X

Rose: a lot of stuff.

Grayson: you're so difficult, just please meet me? X

Rose: It's too soon. Starting from the beginning remember?

Grayson: Please see me? X

Rose: I told you, no.

Grayson: Fine, I'll wait for you x

Rose: You'll probably be waiting a while.

Grayson: you piss me off x

Rose: the feeling is mutual.

Grayson: but I like you. A lot. X

Rose: whatever.

Rose: can I ask you something?

Grayson: anything :) x

Rose: why were you so ashamed to be seen with me?

Grayson: ffs!

Rose: well?

Grayson: it's not that I'm ashamed. You've told me yourself that you know who I am. You've told me that I'm a "fuck boy" & I don't seem to care. I've never known anyone like you, you're so different. You make me feel something I've never felt for anyone. But everyone at school thinks I'm "popular" or "cool" and that's my "image". Of course I don't like being classed as that, but it's quite difficult to change that. X

Rose: where are you going with this? You trying to say that I'm gonna make you unpopular or uncool? Coz I certainly wouldn't want to do that to you smh

Grayson: no, what I mean is that I want to change that and what people think of me but at the same time, I don't want to be known as weak. The lads (except Ethan obvs) think I'm "whipped" and that I'm gonna turn soft for you. X

Rose: and is that such a bad thing? I deffo wouldn't like to damage your image if it is. I'd hate for you to be soft just because of me, I really would. Ffs.

Grayson: no. Before I spoke to you, I wasn't serious with girls & I admit I liked to have girls after me but now, I'm only interested in you. I want to do all I can to make you happy x

Rose: well you're not doing very well :/

Grayson: I want people thinking I'm good enough for you & that I can look after you. I want people to be scared to take you away from me. I want everyone to know you're mine. Only mine. I don't want people treating us like shit. X

Rose: if that's what you want, you've gone the wrong way about it. You're the only one treating me like shit...

Grayson: I was so stupid. But we're back to the beginning and this time, I won't mess up! X
