AU or songfic...whatever it is, really...
Also, the OST I've left up here is kinda important for this. Please play it for the story to make more sense.
Let's go, start!
A girl trudges through the snow, alone.
She steps on the soft, yet so cold floor.
She hears the crunches eating her alive.
Her head spins deliriously as she falls, face onto the snow.
Losing the vision of the place she is setting her sights upon.
She would not give into death.
Two other people nearby spot her fainting.
One picks her body up onto his back.
The other person carries his provisions they've picked on the mountains.
They walk back to their place.
The unconscious girl wakes up to a warm room.
Alerted, she lifts her body up until she spots what calmed her down first in one of the saviours' hands.
She thanked the cheery, ever so innocent boy.
She thanked the stoic but kind hearted boy.
Her precious items reacted strangely when they weren't looking.
Her book that belonged to her grandfather was now gold from the brown leather it used to have.
Lastly, her 2 white snowflakes passed down by her parents, are now glittering turned into a glassy like appearance.
The same people who looked after her showed some compassion from the near-death situation.
She was very greatful for their hospitality.
She was truly happy to live in their cabin for the next few months.
As well as they, in return.
However...
There came a time she had left the cabin.
Both sorrow and happiness were her last emotions for a temporary farewell.
Both understandably let her go.
She knew she wouldn't stay forever.
She had the book left, yet to be finish.
Half of the continent was drawn.
The other half, left blank.
Before she leaves, she handed the two people her keychain.
She insisted.
Both received it with gratitude.
No words were even needed to be said.
She smiled at the times she had with them.
She takes 2 keychains out her pocket to see an beautiful, glass swan and a knitted, fluffy puppy.
No, it wasn't a farewell at all.
Now she recognised the boys as people she loved dearly.
She finally a place she belonged to.
A place called home.
The place she'll return to someday.
Was what they all hoped for.
And it was granted.
The two people came to her once again through the snow.
They travelled throughout the place.
They adventured altogether.
Hand in hand.
End
Hope you enjoyed this Hyamori! xD Sorry it took a long time for this...I'm not sure if you knew that the two people were Yuma and Midorikawa.
I realised I like using dialogue a bit too much so, I kinda want a trail with a narrative instead. I wanted to make this a looped story but mehhhh....I like a different conclusion.
Story's summary:
So what happened in this is that Reader-chan is a traveller looking for a place to call home. She has been alone for a very long time because her parents and grandparents are deceased. Because of that, her mental state became less vivid and she collapsed from grief in the middle of the snowy continent- which represents her heart. The only thing she has is her book in which her Grandpa and Grandma to be had left from their own adventures from half of the world. Much like how her life has yet to be filled completely. Her parents left her the snowflake keychains- which acts as a representation of her will/inner peace. Earlier it was just white. It's just plain vanilla and there's obviously nothing too special about it until it sparkles the light into making her think more determinedly and optimistically. The two people Yuma and Midorikawa, changes her way of life, mental thinking and heart. She now realises that both of these two are people she wants to stay by as do they are her 'new home'. And now, her 'home' is always with her. That was the second half of the book life filled and completed, AKA, her life.
Until next time, bye my kiddies!~
