Reiji x Reader [Request]

A relaxing afternoon was taking place. You looked at the chart that had the timetable of different duties around Tamakoma. As soon as you do, Reiji comes into the headquarters. You turned your head to him."So, we on cooking duty Reiji?" Reiji goes to the front door.

"Yea, lets grab the ingredients from the stores first. I'm thinking of making curry" You nod rapidly in agreement.

"Sweet! I feel like curry tonight.~" You ran to where Reiji is. Which is outside. You didn't need to get ready considering you had a jumper and baggy pants on already. After you arrive at the stores, both of you went straight to the vegetable isle. Then, you went to the stock isle. As Reiji was looking at the options of the curry available, you tapped him.

"What are you thinking? Spicy or non-spicy?"

"...Probably the non-spicy." He chuckles. "Not too many people like the spicy version." You chuckled as well, knowing who he's talking about.

"Alright. Now that we got the shopping done, let's get cookin' for everybody." You place the brought items onto the table. You start off actual cooking with washing your hands first. You then pour a large amount of water into the pot used for the curry. After placing the pot on the stove, you turn up the heat and throw in the curry flavouring. Meanwhile, Reiji cuts the vegetables with ease. Reiji grabs you attention by speaking.

"Hey, F/N. Did you add the flavouring yet?" You stir the pot to dissolve the contents of the cubed curry flavouring.

"Yea, does that mean that you finished chopping up the veggies'?"

"Yea, could you move please?" Realising what he meant, you side stepped to the left. Reiji grabs the bowl. He places the chopped veggies' into the bowl for you to put in afterwards. You then looked at Reiji who was standing strangely. 30 seconds past and Reiji stood very still. He dashed off immediately. "F/N. Look after the curry, OK? I'll be right back!"

"What did he mean by that? Oh well, about 2 hours more of this and it should be throughly cooked with the vegetables included..." 10 minutes later Reiji pants heavily with more grocery bags.

"W-we almost forgot the apples and beef." It took you a moment to take in before you realised as if you were pretty dense.

"OH CRAP! HOW THE HELL DID WE FORGET THE MOST VALUABLE INGREDIENTS?!"

"Well, we have then now. So I'll quickly slice them." Reiji finishes up the chopping. He adds the meat in first, then spice. A few minutes more past, then the apples with the vegetables go in. Now everything was done. You grab a mini plate to test the food.

"It's done!~ Holy crap, that was close though. Any longer and it would've been potato and vegetable curry."

"That doesn't sound bad though. Maybe we could experiment that next time."

"Yea! It's pretty fun cooking with you Reiji."

"You too F/N."
