So this is my weird of saying sorry readers. Hope I'm forgiven with this chappy.

~Reader's P.O.V.~

"RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!"

You yelp awake as an extremely loud alarm woke you up. It definitely was louder than your normal one, but you then remembered that you weren't anywhere near your normal alarm clock. That's right, Sting's house, you groggily remind yourself. Taking a deep breath, you sat up and stretched your arms. Although you didn't mind, Sting's bed wasn't as comfy as yours. But, then again, you were the "daughter" of a rich businessman, so you couldn't deny that you've been spoiled with things. However, you'd give away everything if you could just go back to those days with your mom...

Sighing, you looked to your right, only to see a nightstand that was not yours, but of course Sting's. You were slightly intrigued when you saw a framed picture sitting on it. Debating on whether or not to look at it, you decide it couldn't hurt and turn the front side towards you. It was then that you see a young Sting. He was wearing such a bright smile in the picture, you almost thought you saw light flash from it. You continued examining the framed photo and noticed a man with spiky white hair and golden eyes and a woman with blonde hair and ocean blue eyes each putting one hand on the young Sting's shoulder and smiling. To any normal person, their heart would've melted at the sight of this image, however, you couldn't help but throw up a bit in your mouth at the sight of so much...light everywhere on a picture. Their bright smiles and the sun in the background just wanted to make you gag. Everything was reminding you of that day, and you could see momentary flashbacks of your mom talking with a warm smile on her face, the radio blasting pop music in the background, and then the deafening screech and blinding yellow light. You gently slap yourself to bring you back to reality. You didn't have time to think about these things. Your eyes traveled to the crude alarm clock that woke you up, and your eyes flew open.

"Holy shit, it's past 7:00?!" you shout in pure shock. Forgetting that your leg used to hurt, you hop off the bed and started racing down to the kitchen.

"Mnngh, wha..?" you heard Sting mumble from the couch. You stomp over to him as he was drowsily rubbing his eyes. You then took ahold of his white shirt and shook him back and forth like a ragdoll.

"WHY IS YOUR ALARM CLOCK SET SO LATE?!" you yelled at him.

"I-I-I'M S-S-SORRY-YY-YY!!" he shouted shakily as he was tossed back and forth. "N-NOW C-CAN Y-YOU LET GO PLEASE?!" You let out a big sigh of frustration before dropped him onto the floor, to which he fell with a small "oomph". Remembering that you were still in Sting's clothes and the fact that you still didn't have much time left, you bolted back to his bedroom, slipped on your school uniform from yesterday, and raced back to the kitchen. You could infer that there wasn't much to eat even without looking at Sting's fridge.  Why?  Because Sting wasn't the kind of person who looked like he remembered to go to the grocery store often.  Also, you and him had leftover pizza last night, so that was a sign too.  "Uh, I don't have that much to eat," Sting says as he recovered from his "morning greeting".  Ah, there was your confirmation.

"I'll just take this apple," you say, eyeing an apple in a woven basket sitting on one of the counters.

"Hey wait! I was gonna eat that today!" Sting whined.

"Too bad," you smirk, taking the apple and tossing it up into the air.  Sting cutely pouts and holds his and out, trying to persuade you to give it to him.  You had to admit, it was kinda cute, but you would never say that out loud.  Instead, you laugh at his pathetic attempt to convince you to put your food into his hand.

"Hey, your fault for forcing me to be here," you shrug.

"Well that wasn't very lady-like," Sting humphed.

"I'm not a lady," you smugly grin. At first Sting pouts even more, but then a smirk slowly creeped onto his face. He slowly walks towards you with that mischievous smile, which makes you a bit nervous, but you hide it and just stand there. And then, the apple in your hand was gone and in Sting's hand in a flash. "H-hey, I got that first!" you say as you try to get the apple back from him, but he was holding it higher than you could jump, since he was taller than you. You looked in despair as he took a large bite out of the apple, the crunching sound of his teeth hitting the flesh of the apple just mocking you.

"Definitely not lady-like," Sting shakes his head to fake disappointment as he gulped down the big bite. "It's too bad, had you asked for the apple, I might have given it to you." You let out a scoff.

"I rather drop dead than beg for an apple, especially from you," you tsked. "I'll just skip breakfast." You run a hand through your hair to make sure your (h/c) hair didn't have messy "morning" hair and started to slip on your shoes.

"You want a brush my lady? I have a one," Sting mocked.

"Oh, you have one?" you ask in amusement. "Or, then again, you probably pay more attention to your spiky gelled hair more than I ever will."

"Hey, it's naturally spiky," he ran a hand through his blonde locks. "I'd never gel this beauty."

"Beauty, where? All is a see is a weird pervert caressing his hair like a psycho," you smirked.

"Aw, you know I'm bae," he himself smirks, putting a hand around your waist. You could feel your face flush red as the contact, so you slapped his hand away from you before he could notice.

"Itai!" Sting yelps. "Why do you keep doing that?!"

"Because you're not supposed to put your arms around people so suddenly like that," you muttered, hoping he didn't see your tomato-red face.

"Heh, I knew you'd fall for me," he smirked. "Your face says it all."  You stomp on his bare foot, making him yelp in pain and jump around like the idiot he was. You laugh coldheartedly.

"That's what you get," you smirked in triumph. After checking that your phone had no new alerts or messages, you take up your backpack and use your mental map to find your way towards Sabertooth High.

"Hey, wait up!!" Sting shouts from behind you, frantically trying to get ready before you leave him behind. You roll your eye at his sad attempt and walk away anyways.
