Chapter 42- The Wake

As I opened my eyes for the first time in god knows how long, my vision was blurry. But when it instantly came back the first  person I saw sitting next to me on the bed was Eric smiling at me.

"Eric" I said smiling

He embraced me so fast I didn't even have time to prepare for his hug.

"God I missed you so much" he said holding me

I could feel his tears as they dripped on my hospital gown.  I looked around the room and saw my kids, Pac, Cube, Ren, Yella, Shanita, Quik and a few other people. He kissed me about 100 times before he let me go. There were flowers and balloons all over my room saying get well soon and we love you. My kids jumped on my bed and gave me the same amount of kisses as Eric did. I missed my kids and I missed my husband. I was still in a little pain but I was still able to handle it.

"How long was I out? a day or two?" I said 

Everyone looked down when I asked my question.

"Aye I know ya'll hear me talkin" I said

"You been out for two months baby" said Eric

"What? how? I just feel like I just took a long ass nap"

"You were on life support" 

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I said trying to pull my IV out "I gotta get back to Ruthless I gotta work I didn't know I was out that long"

"Baby just lay down" said Eric stopping me  "Every thing is fine Ruthless is fine"

I laid my head back on my pillow and let out a loud sigh.

"Do you remember anything?" said Cube

"Yeah...I remember running outside crying...and then hearing a gun shot...it tripped me out seeing my stomach bleeding out like that...Oh my god...my baby is my baby ok?!" I said with worry coming over my face.

"You miscarried baby" said Eric looking down "I wish you would of told me you were pregnant"

"I'm sorry Eric" I said with tears starting to fill my eyes

"It's going to be ok" he said holding me "We'll talk more about it later"

"Did ya'll ever find out who did it?"

"Yeah we got em"

"Who the police?"

"No WE got em" said Pac

"Yeah we drove all the way to Compton and smoked them foos" said Ren

I smiled as I thought about them getting revenge. I really had a bullet for William myself. But knowing Eric took care of it really shows me how down he is for me.

"Yep and I even took a bullet for you" said Cube lifting up the arm of his shirt showing me his bandages

"Damn ya'll was on some gangsta shit huh" I said wiping my tears and smiling

"Nah we just had to show them muthafuckas not to fuck with the Ruthless Family" said Eric

Just then the Doctor came in.

"Hello Mrs. Wright it's good to see that your finally awake I'm Dr. Peller and I took care of you while you were on life support" he said shaking my hand

"Nice to meet you"

"I have to say your husband has been by your side the whole way" he said looking at Eric

"That's my baby" I said rubbing on Eric's chin hair

"Well I have your discharge papers and it looks like we can send you home today" he said smiling

"Good cuz all I wanna do it be home in my bed and take this gown off" I said 

"I brought you some clothes babe" said Eric putting my Michael Kors duffle bag on the bed

"Thanks baby" I said

"I have some papers for your husband to sign and then we can send you on your way" he said handing Eric a clip board

I was so ready to step foot into my house. I missed home and I missed Ruthless. I was so ready to get out of this depressing ass place. I wanted to get into the shower and wash all this bullshit away.
