Only about fifty kilometres away from the Canadian border, located near a set of some quite extravagant mountains, the small town of Odium was the home to less than half a thousand people. The town, lush and full of wilderness, was located in the state of Washington, tucked away in the corner of the United States.
That’s Washington State. Not, Washington D.C., the presidential state, the capital.
Just Washington.
The town was often lampooned for its lack of blasé attitude, rural location, and awful cult music. The people of the town were nicknamed ‘screamies’ thanks to this reputation.
(Because all they do is scream.)
But being the small, rural little town it is, the people of Odium didn’t care about what anybody told them or said about them. Because, see, when you have as high a death rate as they do, reputation is the last thing you care about.
You just want to know what the hell is going on.
