Rock Lee Love Story

Chapter One (UPDATED 3/7/16)

It was 5:00 am and I was being harshly shaken out of my sleep. "Uh, what...?" I asked aloud as I slowly sat up. "Kiara! Get up! You're going to make us late for training! And you know what Guy Sensei did the last time we were late!" We both cringed at the memory of Guy Sensei having us run laps around Konoha until midnight. "Yeah, you're right Tenten, I don't wanna have to do THAT again." Suddenly my head started to throb so I reached my hand up to rub it while I inwardly groaned.

"OKAAAYYY! Rock Lee and Kiara! You guys are sparring today!" Ugh, why do I have to spar with him? He's a taijutsu master and I'm only a medical ninja, he's gonna destroy me just like last time. "Kiara, are you coming? It is our turn to show off our amazing youth!" My cheeks flushed and I stood walking over to him. "Sorry Lee, I was zoned out for a minute." I got into my stance and stared Lee down as he did the same. We circled each other for a couple minutes our gazes never leaving each other's. In a flash he was behind me and had punched me straight in the spine. 'That's gonna hurt later.' I thought to myself as I flew across the designated sparring area. Before I knew it my head hit straight into a rock and my vision was going blurry. The next moment I was passed out sprawled across the ground while my head was bleeding.

I was pulled from my thoughts when Tenten, apparently sick of my day dreaming, started yelling at me. "COME ON! DON'T JUST SIT THERE RUBBING YOUR HEAD. GET GOING!" Her face was starting to turn red and I took that as my cue to slide out of bed. "Okay, okay. You get a head start and I'll be right behind you." She nodded and walked to my bedroom door, "If I'm late, I'm blaming you." And with that she left leaving me to myself in my room. I sighed sulking over to my wardrobe, "This is so lame, why do we have to train so early? I'd much rather be sleeping." I said aloud to no one in particular while I groggily pulled out my green crop top. It had a fishnet sleeve on the right arm and a tank top sleeve on the left. I then pulled out my green leggings that end just below my knee. I slipped them on making sure that they weren't inside out like the last time. Finally I pulled on my shoes and tool pouch, and left my room. (Picture) (So as you can see I'm basing her look off of Rock Lee as he is a big influence in her life and I was wondering if I should have her wearing the orange leg warmers as well, or if I should just keep it as it is.) As I left my house I noticed the time and saw that it almost 6:00, our daily training time. "I better hurry, if I'm late again Guy Sensei is gonna make me do laps!" And with that I was off on my way to the training grounds.

Up ahead of me I see that Tenten is almost at the training grounds. I jog a little to catch up with her, "Hey Tenten!" She slowed her pace for a minute and looked back over her shoulder at me, "Oh hey, slowpoke." She said while grinning at me before turning her gaze back at where she was walking. 'That grin she gave me means she's up to something, I just know it!' I thought to myself while glaring at her suspiciously. "What do you have planned...?" I raised my right brow. She stopped dead in her tracks and I bumped into her. "Well, you see, I didn't tell you this at your place but... IT'S A RACE! That's why I was walking so slowly so you could catch up with me. Since I know you won't race me without a reason, I'm giving you a great one!" She laughed and pushed my shoulder, "Wanna know what I'm gonna do when I win?" She smirked and I once again glared at her. "What are you planning? Tenten this better not be about... him." I looked around to make sure that nobody was around before mentioning him. "It's most definitely about him. If you lose, I'm telling him!" She giggled before running off straight to the training grounds, straight to him! As fast as I could I took off after her. "TENTEN!!" Up ahead I saw her make a sharp left turn. Before I could turn with her I ran straight into something hard. I fell onto my behind and scraped my elbows on the ground. Groaning I look up to see what I ran into. I sweat dropped as I saw that it was a tree that had blocked my path. "How the hell could I have missed a tree?!" I growl and try to stand as quick as I could and started running again.

As soon as I rounded the corner my feet stopped moving, I just stopped. In front of me I saw Tenten walking up to Rock Lee who was busy at training. Shaking my head I snapped out of my trance and I ran as fast as I could to get to Tenten. Within seconds I was right behind her and before she knew it I had tackled her to the ground. She rolled over so that she was facing me. She had a very surprised and angered look on her face. "What do you think you're doing!?" She growled out at me while trying to escape my grasp. "What am I doing?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" Much to my surprise I was lifted into the air and then set onto the ground. When I turned around I saw that it was Guy Sensei who had removed me from Tenten. "Aw come on now, what's going on between you two?" He asked while crossing his arms and staring the two of us down. "Well..." Tenten began while standing up, "I told her that I was going to tell Neji that she was the one who accidentally took his head band if she lost our race, and she did lose! But then when I was on my way to him she just tackled me down to the ground!" I was taken by surprise with her answer. Was that really what she was talking about? I took a second to look towards where I saw Rock Lee and there he was, just past him. Neji was sitting on a log behind where Lee was training. I shook my head looking down at the ground, how could I be so stupid? A hand landed on my shoulder and it drew me from my thoughts. I look up cautiously to see that it was Guy Sensei. "Kiara, did you really take his headband? The one he's been looking for?" I sighed looking down once again and nodded slowly. "I didn't mean to! We both took ours off to train and I accidentally have his! It's in my bag." I said while sliding it off of my shoulders. But before I could reach in and take out Neji's headband and hand grabbe my arm. "Kiara why would you lie to me about having my headband? I asked you many times if you had seen it but you said no every time." I winced and tried to pull my arm away but he wouldn't let go. 'He's stronger than he looks.' "Well because I thought that you were going to be angry with me because I accidentally took it..." I looked at him and it looked like he was going to say something but before he could Rock Lee had yanked his Neji's hand off of my arm. "CAN'T YOU SEE THAT HER ARM IS GETTING RED?" Rock Lee basically screamed before going on about how Neji almost ruined my youthful arm. "No, I did not. I am sorry Kiara. Can I please have my headband?" I nodded and finally pulled it out handing it to him, "Sorry I grabbed it Neji." He pulled it over his forehead and tied it on before saying, "It is okay Kiara, just do not lie to me next time."

As the day went on we all trained in our specific specialties before it came down to the inevitable. That would have to be Rock Lee and Guy Sensei getting themselves into a sparring match with each other. As usual one would make a comment about how one could do more of something that the other. It always ends up with them sparring. Because there is no stopping them, Tenten, Neji, and I sat down to take a break. "Kiara." Neji said without looking at me. "Uh yes..?" I glanced at him but looked back to where Rock Lee and Guy Sensei were fighting. "Was I hurting you earlier?" He asked finally looking at me. I shrugged looking at him, "Only a little, you're stronger than you look, you know." I giggled waving his question off. "When Rock Lee took my hand off of you, why were you blushing?" "Huh?" I had asked genuinely confused by his unusual question, "I wasn't blushing." He drew his eye up to mine, "Yes you were. Remember, nothing escapes my gaze." With that he got up and walked away. I touched my cheeks lightly and thought to myself, 'Was I really blushing? Is my crush on Rock Lee that noticeable?' 

Before I could think any further on the situation a new one presented itself. From where I was sitting it looked like Rock Lee was laying knocked out on the ground. Worry begot me and I hurried as fast as I could to him with my bag in tow. From my bag I pulled out my first aid kit. "Rock Lee are you okay? What happened Guy Sensei?" I asked my Sensei though I kept my attention on Lee. As I looked over his every feature I saw nothing out of the ordinary, no bruises, cuts, or bumps. Suspicion grew almost as rapidly as my blushing did as I continued looking him over. I shot my attention back to his face when I heard sniggering. All of a sudden a fully conscious Rock Lee had shot up from his back onto his feet. "HA! I GOT YOU KIARA! YOU FELL FOR OUR AMAZING PRANK!" I sat dumbfounded on the ground for a moment while he pranced around yelling out "I GOT YOU!" over and over again. When I finally realized what had just happened my face grew red and jumped up to my feet. "YOU DIDN'T GET ME! I KNEW WHAT YOU WERE DOING THE WHOLE TIME!! I WAS THE ONE WHO TRICKED YOU!" Rock Lee stopped chanting and walked over to me, "Oh reeaaAALLYY? How did you trick me?! You were the one looking all over me tainting my youth!" After he said that my cheeks flushed again, not with anger this time but with embarrassment. "So what!? All I was doing was checking on you because I was worried! But I guess caring about you taints your youth!" My eyes welled with tears as I picked up my bag shoving my first aid kit in. I looked up at my team for a split second before running off in the opposite direction and I saw everyone glaring and scolding Lee.
