Chapter 2

Diomedes POV

I stalk off towards the forest with Alivia on my tail. Ha! She thinks it just like those other times. Little does she know what's waiting for her.

As we go deeper in the forest, the light starts to diminish and I see her losing me.

"Diomedes?" She calls out. I step further away. Facing her but, still, a few yards away. She let's out a sigh then goes to sit by a tree. I take her move and use it against her by pinning her to the tree with a wall of rocks. She looks around in the darkening forest then yanks out her left hand.

What is she doing? Her face has a look of concentration and soon something starts to dance along her fingertips. Fire. I walk closer to her to get a better view. Her hand soon burst into flames illuminating the forest and myself, and I am standing right infront of her. She gasps and puts out the fire.

She bites her lip and looks at me. Her now red eyes are staring at me and I feel a shiver run up my spine.

"You saw that?" She states, even though it sounds more like a question to me. I nod and look down not meeting the frightful red eyes, which only come on members of the Fire relm and bodaways (fire makers). I see the rocks around her turn to mud and slide to the ground. She steps away from the tree and walks towards me, her eyes are back to blue.

I take a step back; away from her and her crazy eyes. Not to mention that she can caper with water and is a bodaway.

"I can explain!--" she starts but I cut her off.

"Explain what?! That you are lying to everyone? That you are a bodaway?! I- I don't know how I am supposed to let you explain," I shout at her. I look down and see her fingers have flames slowly dancing on them. I look up and she has red eyes again.

Seeing her eyes then makes me slowly remember why I brought her here. "Crap..." I say to myslef. She gives me a weird look and opens her mouth to say something but never gets to before she blacks out. I look to see my brother behind her with a giant stick. He hit her.

"Do I have to do everything? You were supposed to knock her out then bring her to the docks!" He shouts.

I mutter a sorry then pick her limp body off the ground.

"What was taking so long anyway?"

I choose not to tell him about the fire but instead say, "I was just messing around with her." I shoot him a wink.

He laughs then waves his hand to call the boat.

We get off the boat on the edge of the Earth Relm. I heaved Alivia on to my shoulder and started down the dock with Karok, my brother, following behind. Gaining a few weird looks along the way I shoot a few death glares. That makes 'em look away, I smirk and Karok stiffles a laugh.

We arrive at the run down house that is our destination. I pull open the door and drop Alivia onto the moth-eaten couch. Footsteps come closer to the street level [A/N Earth Relm! They build down instead of up! ;) ] from underneath us. Chatter can be heard even more with each floor they advance.

Two men come from the door that leads down. They climb out and come and stand before us.

My father was the one on the right dressed in earth tones and has long white hair, a long beard, and green eyes,his name is Tabo; next to him stands a man dressed very neat with orange and red tones, he has coal black hair that is closely pulled from his face and into a bun on his head. His red eyes stare intensly at me and causes me to shiver. I presume he is the man we got Alivia for, his name would then be Zus.

Zus looks at Alivia and a cracks an evil smile.
