Through quiet sobs Avery blurted everything out, "It was a dare...a stupid dare... I can't believe that this is how low he went... it was a joke...we were never real...I found him in Gary's bar and he was flirting with this girl...I made my way up to him and practically screamed at his face...he then broke it down to me...he was dared Elle...FUCKING DARED TO FUCKING DATE ME FOR FUCKING TWO YEARS!" She exclaimed, clutching her forehead as her eyebrows knit together in frustration. Giselle huddled towards her and gasped, embracing her in the process. The next hour or so was spent by repeating mantras of various empowering sentences which made Avery feel a little better.
She tilted her head a tad bit and stuttered,"Wow, he seriously isn't worth it, you're right, if none of it was real, then what am I even crying for right?" Giselle nodded her head, encouraging Avery, but she knew this confidence that had suddenly bloomed in Avery wouldn't last for long. So she had an idea.
"Hey, tell you what, on Monday, keep your head up okay? Look at the buildings and just- everything, look everywhere," Giselle said as she playfully smiled at Avery. Confused as ever, Avery looked nothing but dazed. Her attempts at questioning Giselle had failed miserably, she hadn't managed to get a single thing out of Giselle's mouth about what she was planning to do on 'Monday'."Just look all around town, and you'll surely find something," said Giselle as she winked at Avery. She was still confused but Giselle left her and her confused thoughts alone. 'Oh boy' Giselle thought. 'This Monday wasn't only going to be a good day for her, but for everybody in town, except for, of course Ricky Williams'.
So, with a smug smile on her purple lips and a playful hum, Giselle Aiono swiftly made her way out of her room.
