Holding On (Before You Exit Fan Fic)

Chapter 1

It's been a while.

It's been a while since the last time I saw Connor. Connor McDonough, the nicest, the most wonderful, awesome(ss) guy I've met.

I haven't seen him for a few months now, it's because they're on tour. I really missed him so much. I should've agreed to go with them on tour.

No.

It's the right decision not to. I will just be annoying there and be a distraction to everybody. Besides, I have school. I care enough for my grades and I prefer real schooling than online school.

It's 3:30 PM... Hmm what should I do?

This always happens. I realized what time it is, ask myself, and then after all that thinking and trying it all ends up with one thing; going to the McDonough's house.

I replaced my tank top to a simple v-neck shirt and stayed with my yoga pants. "Mom! I'm going for a walk!" I shouted while going downstairs.

"Okay!" my mom shouted back.

I look for the house key and took it, open the door and step outside. It sure is a bright sunny day here in Orlando.

I cross the street like I have done it a million times. And there I was, in front of the McDonough's house.

I walk into their front steps, and sit there like what I usually do whenever Connor and I talk.

That's our place, their front steps. I know it's weird. And the only view you'll see from there is my house. A not-so-large house compared to the McDonough's which was for me is huge.

I just sit there, watch the trees' leaves sway from the wind, birds fly, cars pass by. You think it's boring but for me it's special because that's what Connor and I always see whenever we sit here, we even talked about it.

I was casually thinking of what should I have for dinner tonight when my phone buzzed.

His picture and his name showed up on the callers ID, I answered it happily, "Helllooooo."

"Hey beautiful!" Connor greeted, sounding so happy. "So, what's my little Kate doing right now?"

"Oh, you know the usual." I made sure to emphasize it. He's silent for a moment.

"You really missed me, huh?" His tone became serious.

"A lot." I let go the tears I've been holding for days. I can't help it. Talking to the phone and Skyping isn't good as much as seeing him in person, well not just him but everyone of my friends.

"Kate, please don't cry. It hurts me when you cry." He pleaded "I know because I really really missed you too."

When I'm finally able to stop my sobs, I finally replied, "Sorry, I know. I just can't help it. I just wanted to see you, I missed you so much."

"Yeah me too. Well, few more months left then we'll see each other again." Connor said.

"I can't wait too see you again, Connor. All of you guys." I replied.

We had a long conversation after. I asked him about the tour which he said was very fun, I can see that from his tweets and his photos on Instagram. He asked me about my studies, which I said was okay and then he asked me if there are any guys that think I'm single and asking me to go out with them which I said none even though there is. I don't want him to worry because he has nothing to worry about and he also said he'll put all his guitar picks to a "Guitar Pick Edition of Nerf Gun" and shoot it to them.

Typical.

"I miss you." I said.

"I miss you too. See ya soon." He said.

"I love you, Conradical."

"I love you, too, little Kate."

End Call.

Hey!

So, this is uhm..my first or second work? I don't know because my friend and I made a story before, its not a fanfic though but it was already deleted because, you know, we ran out of ideas.

So, uh, technically this is my first work as an individual writer, with no co-writer or anything.

Forgive me if I have errors, wrong grammar, or any other kind of errors.

I hope you guys like the chapter one because I stayed up late for this (I'm serious).
