*The square, once a place of terrifying judgment, had transformed into a theater of raw, human grief.. Mr and Mrs Kim stood frozen for a long time, watching their son from a distance..They looked at his polished clothes, his healthy glow, and the way he stood tall beside a man who looked ready to burn the world down just to keep him safe..Slowly, with heavy steps and hearts full of lead, they began to walk toward him..Taehyung’s breath hitched..he instinctively took a step forward, his heart screaming for the parents he had missed, but he felt a firm, warm weight anchor him..*

*Jungkook’s hand had tightened around his..Taehyung looked down at their joined hands, then up at Jungkook..His face was a mask of cold granite,his dark eyes fixed on the Kims with a protective, warning glare..He wasn't letting tae go..He remembered every tear tae had cried in his arms,he remembered how they said he is not clean..
Mr Kim stopped a few feet away, his head bowed.. He didn't dare look Jungkook in the eye..*

Mr Kim(voice cracking, barely a whisper): We..we won't disturb you..We know we have no right to stand here..We didn't come to take tae back or to demand anything..

Jk(finally looked at Tae, his eyes red and brimming with tears):  Taehyung-ah..we just wanted to say we’re sorry..For everything.. For every time we chose the village’s gossip over your happiness..For not being the parents you deserve..We were supposed to be your shield, but instead, we were the ones who threw you into the lion’s den..

Mrs Kim(let out a sob, clutching her chest): We were useless, Taehyung.  We were so blinded by honor that we almost let a monster destroy our only son.. Forgive us, Tae.. forgive us for being so weak.

Mr Kim(then turned his gaze to Jungkook,there was no defiance left, only a profound, humbled respect): And Jungkook-ssi.. Thank you..Thank you for doing what I was too cowardly to do.. Thank you for protecting him, for loving him, and for showing us,in the most painful way possible, exactly how wrong we were..he is alive and happy because of you.. We won't bother you anymore.. We understand that we lost the right to call ourselves his family a long time ago..

*Taehyung’s vision blurred as tears finally spilled over..he looked at his father’s trembling shoulders and his mother’s broken expression..The resentment he had carried for months began to crack, replaced by the overwhelming need for a parent’s touch..he turned to Jungkook, his eyes pleading, his bottom lip trembling..Jungkook looked down at him..The ice in his expression melted instantly the moment he saw tae's  tears.. He didn't want him to hurt anymore, and he realized that for tae to truly heal, he needed this closure..Jk offered him a small, tender smile,the kind only he ever got to see..*

Jk(whispered, his voice like velvet): Go, sweetheart..

*Slowly, almost reluctantly, he uncurled his fingers, letting go of tae's hand..Taehyung’s eyes widened in surprise..*

Jk(softly, reaching up to brush a stray tear from tae's cheek with his thumb): I told you once before..I told you I’d let them back into your life the moment they truly understood what they did.. They finally see it, Tae.. You don't have to carry the weight of their mistakes anymore..

Jk(gave her a small nudge): Go..

*Taehyung didn't wait another second..he let out a choked sob and ran, his feet flying across the wooden platform..he crashed into his father’s arms, his head burying into Mr Kim's  chest just like he used to when he was a little girl..*

Tae(wailed,his hands clutching Mr Kim's shirt as if he were afraid Mr kim might disappear.): Appa!!

*Mr. Kim caught him, staggering back from the force of tae's love.. He wrapped his arms around tae, burying his face in tae's hair, his own sobs finally breaking free.. Mrs Kim joined them, wrapping her arms around both of them, the three of them forming a circle of long-overdue forgiveness in the middle of the clearing..
Jungkook stood back, leaning against a post with his arms crossed.. His eyes softened,he kept looking at tae,a look of quiet peace settled over his face..*
